I find it hard to remember dates so its more of a feeling and a knowing of a general area as to when an anniversary for something is for me. Two months ago it was a year since my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer…Keeping me at home instead of going to ca to see my dad who lived in a home at the time….Yes im only 20 my father had yet to reach the age of sixty . He had a heart attack when I was 14 ..he died when I was still 19 years old.. He was only 52 when he suffered brain damage from a lack of oxygen from being dead on the table for to long ..A week and a half in a coma .. I sat in a waiting room speaking with an Indian family who’s grandmother was dying… She was old….A grandmother of fully grown grandkids...in their 30s and 40s. Not to say I have a right to choose its just not fair to watch life get taken from someone so young…To spend 5 years with my father remembering me forever at the age of 12 and wishing he were dead with what mind he had left. So when he died last year it was a blessing as well as painful , but to say the least life is hard to take on someday ‘s its hard to live with the fact that I lost the chance to say goodbye two months earlier because my mom was in trouble of her own.. She s only 53 I might add… it seems 52 is an unlucky number for my parents. I dunno why I find myself writing this here , sometimes people just need to let it out somewhere.
