I am so damn bored and im hitting lots of dead ends

Rainy afternoons were meant to be spend in doors , which was why walking through the graveyard for a job was the last place Yuna wanted to be . A small frown passed her pale nearly colorless lips as she turned another corner and the rains started to fall down in thicker drops splattering against the plain black umbrella she carried. For a graveyard this was a rather confusing one with private crypts to be held everywhere. , Hedge walls that grew over six feet high and stone and iron rot ones as well to divide up sections of families and old and newer districts of the place. , monuments to the dead and angels that towered over her on giant stone platforms with worn looking words.. Grey eyes stared out over the tangled expanse of the place another corner another wall , a dead end here an opening to a crypt there. This job should of come with a bloody map , black leather boots scrapped across cement pathways and dirt worn grass she had been wandering around the damn place for over a half hour.

Sunday gray day afternoons were meant to be spent inside staring out the window with a cup of tea and her favorite book…They most certainly were not meant for work. Black fabric brushed against the ground just barely the entire inch up from her hem of her black skirt had grown wet and it was quickly being splattered by drops rolling off the umbrella as well. A hand dipped behind her ear to drag the expanse of black hair behind her ears as she tapped her feet onward… Finally the grave she had been looking for was spotted a grave unlike all the others..

From here on out she would have to work quickly others would be coming soon if she didn't figure out its secrets fast. The stone crypt was brand new but made to look older then some of the oldest graves in the place.. The stone was stained to look aged and chipped so artistically that one wouldn’t be able to tell it was done by human hands. A black metal fencing surrounded the thing going up seven feet until long arrow pointed shafts shot out the top in exchanged lengths..making it next to impossible to climb up the damn thing unless you really really wanted in. She slid a key out of the inside of the black leather backpack on her back slipping into the lock of the small doorway.. It vaguely reminded her for watching Alice In wonderland as a child ..It was essentially a child’s door way into the crypt and yet it was the only one here , She bent down to turn the knob crawling through the small opening dragging the umbrella along with and shutting the door behind herself . Now the key was moved to the chain around her neck sliding the silver chain through it before looping it back over her head as to make it faster to get out. From there she drew out a flashlight and dropped the umbrella beside the opening of the crypt no need to bother with crawling through the darkness to find her way to the end. Most modern crypts were equipped with generators but this one was stupidly placed with candles going all the way down to the bottom and she half wondered after lighting them but thought better of the time it would take to do so. With each step down the walls grew damper the stairs themselves more steep as if to screw with ones mind more and tell them to turn back…Obviously they were seeing things ? Because who would be dumb enough to change the height of the stairs? She frowned beaming the flashlight on the ground careful with each step as the ever colder air and the growing darkness as breathed in on her closing her in. Going deeper into it the light from behind her faded out and their was nothing but the darkness and the yellow glow of the next few steps in front of her. The sound of silence as she walked amongst the dead and thick limestone and cement surrounded her blocking out all noise from the outside world but her own breathing and the sound of steps.

A huge work in progress that is all

Click, click, click... the heels of her shoes just hitting the pavement before dragging forward echoed down the narrow alley ways as she ran past building after building still not far back sounded a louder deeper click of someone following. With every step fore ward her heart pounded faster and breath grew shorter, she wasn't going to make it and she could tell it wasn’t much father until she met with her end. His footsteps came much less hurried then hers the sound of her feet growing louder all the while and at that a slow sly smirk slowly crossed over his lips. He could almost taste her now she was so close the sound of her strained breaths and panicked running in his ears only made him more eager for the hunt. She dove into the next alley with out paying attention slamming straight into the metal of a wire fence to which she blinked up bemused at it. “No this wasn't here yesterday, No not now… Shit” He laughed softly now slowing his pace to a stroll as though he was taking a walk through the park on a Sunday afternoon, savoring it. No she wasn't going to make it after all, but was their any hope to start? His cold laughter rang through the alley chasing down her spine leaving her chilled to the bone. She climbed up the thin wire fence desperately but to no avail. The foot holes were too small and the fence too weak, it bowed and swayed under her weight tossing her off. It was but a fleeting try of someone scared to die, she hadn’t even thought through what was going to happen once she had reached the barbed wire at the top. Her knees were the first thing to hit as she fell onto the pavement from the fence, the beginning of small cuts reddening along them as she stood up. She stood, back against the fence watching... Waiting as he came nearer, closing in the distance, that cold smile over his lips as he reached her. His pale finger tips playing along the side of her head gathering up those long chestnut curls and ripping her head to the side with such force her body swayed. His soft laughter ringing in her ears was the last thing she heard before the chilling softness of his lips grazed over her neck, the needled pinprick of his teeth against the tender flesh and then everything went dark for her…

Mekia screamed as darkness devoured her closing in from all sides the weightless feeling and the fact that she couldn’t remember breathing, and then it all came rushing back; heart pounding loudly in her chest breath heaving forcefully out in gasps as if their wasn’t enough oxygen in the room and someone was standing over her with a plastic bag. Slowly she lifted heavy eye lids rubbing them open gazing out over the room taking in her surroundings once more to reassure herself she was indeed at home in bed. With that her breathing started to slow and the beating of her heart wound down to a normal pace, she sat up straight pulling back the sweat soaked sheets cold and clammy sticking to her flesh as she dragged them off herself and onto the edge of the bed. It had happened again, a small frown brushed onto her pale lips, yet another dream or nightmare really to plague her thoughts. This had become quite a common occurrence where she was stuck in a world that felt so real and she was a completely different girl from herself. Sadly every one of those girls she became in her dreams met with the same exact fate. Each time she then awoke screaming and sweat soaked feeling drained still safe and sound in her own bed, but she didn’t feel all that safe. Mekia was yet again nearly late for school as always when this happened she seemed so trapped under the sleep spell that she slept an hour past her alarm. She sighed sliding out of bed dragging her body to its feet nearly spilling over back onto the bed when her legs seemed unable to support her weight. She caught a hold of her nightstand that sat next to the bed and frowned this was going to make running to school even more fun wasn’t it. The room was nearly empty containing white washed walls a small window with gray blinds half pulled up gray dull carpet with as to bring out the only emotion of a hospital room. White sheets and dark cherry wood bed frame and night stand, a dresser hidden half behind mirrored closet doors that only echoed the emptiness of the place, in the corner a lap top did sit though on top of two cinder blocks small flat looking green pillow next to it on the floor and a stack five feet high of note spiral bound note books. She let a sigh pass her lips as she dragged the white slip nightgown over her head and tossed it into the hamper by the door and dressed in her normal black and burgundy pleated skirt tugging her knee high socks on and black shoes onto her feet.
