My fingers slipped open revealing a priceless gem
translucent ruby-red shades
floating in the core
As if I had the greatest strength
it squished in my veined hand
bending like absolutely nothing
I pushed my prize under a slimy tongue
stinking and covering such beauty
to swallow what others cannot have.
A small poem I just made. It's actually about some strawberry jello instead of a gem, but it certainly sounds poetic.
