People's attitudes on the holidays sure are pretty interesting ......here's my account from the past two days of what I mean.....



I was listening to a man crying his eyeballs out for his beloved children because the ex wouldn't let him near ( wasn't an serial killer) and she was using the kids as leverage. 5 minutes later another man came up to me who had a chance to see his family only wanted 15 minutes with his entire clan. I go to my roomies thanksgiving and he didn't really want to be there except for his daughter, the entire family was sweet as butter and went on a nature walk after- he stayed behind for the walk. I go to my families thanksgiving full blown all adopted siblings of all ethnicities except Asian, one sibling brought her lesbian lover and FRIENDS with kids from totally different backgrounds ill- wishing, making fun of each other for doing stupid things or wisecracking racial jokes but we got it. My sister said something offensive to dad but she apologized. We still love each other and laugh it off and even reminisced about our recently late dog but knew he was in a better place. It's just really interesting to see all the attitude people have around the holidays......
