FORGIVE ME FOR I HAVE SINNED

I wandered from the path

took a trip to the other side

pretended you could not see

now there's nowhere left to hide.



I see my failure in your eyes

the hurt i've given you

you warned me of the temptation

and how you words come true



I would ask your forgiveness

but your heart is made of stone

I would hold you through the night

if you had not left me alone



I stand before you naked

no lies i use to decieve

just asking for your forgiveness

and hopeing you believe



that me wandering from the darkness

and bareing my soul to light

has made me understand

that I belong to the night.



that no matter what i do

my heart is cold as ice

and so i return to you

willing to pay the price



you can tie me up in chains

whip me till i bleed

rip the clothes from my body

to satisfy your need



you can cast me into fire

to burn for a thousand years

you can look inside my dreams

and bring to life my fears



what more can i say

what more can i do

I ventured into goodness

and risked that i'd lose you.

INSIDE ME

When you look into my eyes

tell me what you see

the beauty of my mind

ot the hurt thats killing me

I stand between the threshold

of a door into a dream

where angels fear to tread

and nothings as it seems

I look into my future

and see nothing but the night.



I look into my past

and see the fading light

I made my choice long ago

this road that i must take

leads me into darkness

from which i cannot wake

all thats been will be again

and I shall rise to power

to step from within the shadows

to see my subjects cower



for I have taken the final step

to see the future now

the power that resides inside me

to make this world bow

to stop the wheels of time

to turn the day into the night

so what you see inside my eyes

is the power that burns so bright.

DARKANGEL

In the moons pale light

a dark angel walks this world tonight.



she is the chill inside your bones

the hidden presence inside you homes.

that sure fire feeling that someones there

waiting inside her lair.



she is the footsteps that echo your own

all the fears, all the unknown.

there is no escape from this ladies stare.

ao look into her eyes if you dare

she is the one who brings fear to the brave

make the dead turn in their graves.



not an angel with a blinding light

an angle with a heart like night

with a smile that make grown men weep

and children scream in their sleep



so have fear of the moons pale light

for a dark angel walks this world tonight.
