| About me:
First a little bit about my user name. Kalona Agiya is Cherokee for Raven Maiden (woman) which is what my actual name means in Celtic. I am very much into my Native American and Celtic heritage but I am interested in finding out about every ancient cultures. I am an intelligent individual. I have researched and studied many things. I have always had a love for reading. Stories have become my obsession. I think that the "Truth" is there...within the stories. The stories we were told as children, the stories of the bible and other religious documents, the stories that were told and played out around the fire when the whole tribe came together, these hold the truth.
If you look you can find common threads. Links that they have in common. Morals that are taught. I have also found that if you look at children's stories from each culture that you will find the same stories. Even though, when these stories were conceived there was no way that there was contact between the cultures. Some stories have traveled, however, and must be looked at as such. What was picked up along the journey? How did time change the story? These are questions that I hope some day to answer and will be devoting quite a bit of my journal to. If you have and interesting or unique story please message me with it.
The very most important thing about me is my children. I have two very beautiful and unique daughters. I love them with all my heart and soul. I will be posting pictures of them in my portfolio as soon as I get the rest of my site to my liking. They are the only two people on the face of this planet that I will profess my undying, unconditional love. All other are just on different levels of tolerance.
There is very much that I have not put here. I do, however, write quite a bit in my journal. I invite you now to come and get to know me better there.

I have recently been inducted by the Coven of Inari. I am a proud memeber and will be working hard for my Coven.
This area will grow as I find out more about my new home. I am looking forward to my journey there.

Profile Rating:
I rate profiles between 8 and 10. An 8 means that I don't think you put much thought and effort into the profile. I do give a grace time for Whelps, but once you have been here a while you should at least put a bit of effort into your profile. A 10 means that I thought the profile was well balanced and told me something about you. A 9 is what I give most often. It means you put some time and effort but that there just is not balance or it doesn't contain enough of yourself in there. For all those out there that say "Well I gave you a 10 you should give me one." Ummm No. I don't think at this point in time my page deserves a 10. I have put a lot of time and effort into it already,but it is not really balanced yet.

My Beliefs:
I have a very unique belief system. It is an eclectic mix of many different cultures and belief systems. As I stated before I think that the stories are the key. I do not believe in any 'god'. I do believe that spiritual energy encompasses all things and we are a part of that. When we die we return the the whole. Those that are strong enough in will and spirit are able to remain more whole. Those that are not are absorbed back into the oneness. That is why there are parts of animals and such in people. This is why reincarnation is plausible and why I don't fear death. In fact, I have let it be known that when I die I do not wish to be embalmed and wish to go back to nature. For my earthy shell to be re-consumed by the cycle.
I will also make it perfectly clear that I do not subscribe to the whole sanctity of life thing. That does not mean that I go out killing all day but if random person "Joe" drops dead I am not going to be terribly upset. I enjoy the art of death. The fact is that we were all born to die. In my 39 years in this body I have learned that death is as natural a part of life as breathing. None escape and for some it is a welcome release.
