My goals are to keep up the rating at least enough I do not fall off of the charts, and advance my level (albeit slowly this time around).



I want to make a few long term acquaintances, but that is just not happening. I am hit or miss on everyone's list, but since my best friend left VR in a raging upset (and nearly suicidal) due to some bad remarks about gay people and trans-gender/multiple personality issues being a writer's way of getting off being stupid...yeah, they were real @1Q#? about it...I have no real and true friends anymore. Heck, even my best friend stopped talking to me because I stayed with this site, but I like the Rave and Cancer and I didn't think a few bad eggs should spoil the whole effort everyone has made here. MySpace Sucks! and I am glad this place exists as an alternative for people who need a place to crash when the world gets too stressed out and bitter to deal with anymore.



My own personal goal started out with a temporary fetish of adding to the database here on VR. I started because my favorite author was not on the book lists. Then, someone else stole that one from me and started adding it before I could get to them. Not a problem, Cancer started up Power Punks at that time and I love it. I was a Comic Book nut as a kid, so was my dad and an older cousin. I had a lot of old, classic issues to start me out and developed a taste for any hand-drawn, life-like artwork.



So, I noticed that everyone was doing some big names, but not the best comics in the business. I sent Cancer an e-mail on a whim and he asked some questions. Before you know it, he added Aspen and Top Cow for me and I have added every entry in them. They are my baby. I love it. Others can get to them if they dare, but so far no one has.



Now, I ran into another issue. Those two companies might have some of the best artists alive, but they are not the biggest in the market. I ran out of things to add, but I found more that I didn't have a place to put. I addressed the issue, and once more Cancer came up with a theory. I have an "Other" folder to add the small little gems I find without a home in the top name market companies.



I love this place. I love everything about it. Once, I even played with the idea of becoming a Procurator or something like it. Who knows what I will do in the end? This places changes constantly. So long as it doesn't take a MySpace Spin or go off the web, I am happy. I even like the fact that Cancer prides himself on being 'un-hackable'. I knew the guy that got him last time and I chewed his little baby butt out for it! Some things even boredom should not have you doing...

Vampire Rave

It is easy if you read either German or Latin, but for those of you who do not and Googling doesn't interpret properly...I thought I would help you all out.



The top section is my normal journal on both of my profiles. The bottom is always reserved for stories, but I might add another story section if I see them getting too full per monthly page.



I doubt that will ever happen. I don't like posting my stories on the Internet. Still, I like some credit for what I do and obviously my family and friends don't consider it more than a gruesome hobby I should give up entirely.



I love to write. People love to read what I dream up. Why should I stop something I was born to do? I write without any effort what-so-ever. I don't sit with writer's block and contemplate if this should be my job or not. I write because I quite literally have to get the stories out of my head before they revolve around in there so long they drive me crazy. Not that I think I am entirely well...lol...but I know I am not crazy. Three cheers for pencil and paper...my favorite medium...and all of the wasted graphite that has turned into something wonderful.

Well, that should help you out some...I suggest you simply click into the journal sections and see for yourself what you will find. However, I know some people will not want to do that, and will possibly only read this top journal section. That is fine. I just want you to be able to find the stories is that is what you are searching for within my pages.

OMFG! I have air conditioning again...



As I haven't willingly lived in a house with it for the last six years, this is amazing. I hate the cold, but I also hate it being over 100 degrees outside in the shade too.



Oh, well...life is full of compromises.
