Anyone for a little Crazy Bitch live?

We went to our concert last night and I have to say that we had the BEST seats or pretty damn close to it. We were in center grandstands and up only 8 rows. It made the stage almost eye level to us and a great spot for pics. I took a ton btw. We filled up like 2 memory cards LMAO. The Exies are an up and coming metal/goth sort of band. You can find one of their songs on Guitar Hero 1. They were the opener for this concert. Next came Buckcherry and let me tell you that the lead singer is covered in more tattoos that I have ever seen on one guy as small as he is lol. He has a king of hearts card tattooed on his back...covering the whole thing. They were great and had a LOT of energy. I got myself a crazy bitch tank top in fact lol. Then came Papa Roach and let me tell you that these guys almost pretty much put on the BEST show of them all. It was a very personal and emotional show. He had tons of energy, loved the crowd interaction and he actually went INTO the crowd. He was in fact about 3 rows down from us in center stands. We almost could have reached out and touched him. Later in their set during a fast and wild song, he jumped off stage down with the crowd....picked up a trash can and hurled it...then went and knocked down a fence LMAO. It was AMAZING! After the song he climbs back on stage and says " I would like to apologize for knocking down that fence. NOT!!" Everyone got a kick out of that. At the end of the set he had his some come out and talk to us on the mic and he was like 3 or 4 maybe and he was screaming and yelling like his dad...."WHO LOVES PAPA ROACH!!!" etc....it was awsome and during tear down the little boy got up and banged on the drums some more lol. OH and it was the lead singers bday yesterday lol. The final band was OBVIOUSLY Hinder because it was Hinder's tour. Their stage set up was great....diamond cut metal like truck runner boards everywhere and neon lights coming through the metal facing us saying Hinder and their graphic on either side. The lead has a screaming wild voice reminiscent of Axle Rose or Steve Tyler. Very dynamic show! I WILL be posting pics as soon as I have them edited for size and shit. Hope you all love them. I played with the idea of putting purple in my hair a couple weeks ago and I actually did it but it didnt show up all that much. So today...well yesterday since its after midnight, I went to the same place and we bleached sections AND THEN colored them purple and BOY can you see them now...I love it!!

I am completely stoked about going to this concert and it cant get here soon enough. I want to go get more purple color put into my hair but I dont think we will have enough money for me to go do that before we go....*sigh* I guess it will have to wait....

We had my daughter's birthday party yesterday and I think it went well overall. We had her party at a park by a pool so they could play outside and go swimming some. She had family around and a couple friends from school as well. My dad and step-mom came to see us and brought my little niece with that I had only seen once before this weekend. I am finding that as the kids' bdays come and go, I realize how much bigger they are really getting and how much older I am getting as well. It makes me realize that I am coming to the end of my baby days and had better do something before too long. It makes my heart ache to think that my kids are growing up so fast and that before I know it they will have licenses and be heading out on their own paths. Friday was actually my daughter's bday so we took her to the races and had them say happy bday to her over the announcements and we bought her a t-shirt and she got a flag from a driver and we had all the white squares filled in with signitures from racers. I am hoping that this ended up being something memorable for her. I love my baby so much though she isnt much of a baby anymore.

Mike and I have tickets to go and see Hinder, Papa Roach and Buckcherry on July 28th!! It was by a stroke of luck that we were able to get these tickets to a sold out show. It just so happened that someone from town here bought their kid these tickets with the hopes that it would give their son some incentive to get better grades and when he didnt they decided to sell the tickets. I cant WAIT to go lol!! Mike already has someone covering for him at work! And on a side note...I went and got my hair cut the other day since I really needed it and I added some purple in it lol. You cant see it as much as I would like but it CAN be seen and I like the way that the color took in my hair so I will be getting more purple added into my hair before too long lol.
