Chapter 1. Deeper than death

I guess you could say lots of bad things about me

but I don’t care I’m dead so what do I care

I guess people could lie and smile and say

"oh she was the best friend ever or we will miss her very much

its all a lie to me anyway

my life was all a lie no one ever cared

my gravestone reads may she rest in peace

but that’s just it I will never rest in peace

my name is Charm laroux and I’m a vampire and I used to live in L.A.

as I was saying before I’m dead, and let me tell you its no fun

sunlight is a bitch (I have a neckless so I can go out in daylight) and I cant even enter a church without freaking out

but that’s not all I was ripped from my life and turned into a monster

but I cant whine now because I lived so long I forgot how to be sad

death is not easy I know I had to watch all my loved ones die

I guess I could blame Dante for all this but no I can only blame myself

here is how my life ended this one cold night

I should have gone home after cheerleading practice but I didn't I found myself heading into a dark ally and what I didn’t know was that a hungry vampire was waiting, he jumped me bearing his fangs sinking them in to me as I tried to call for help but I was to weak from lose of blood

but something happened when he looked down at me fading away and I saw something good in him so he sank this fangs into his wrist and let his blood flow into my mouth. but I couldn’t bear dying so I drank and soon nothing else mattered anymore.

I awoke in a dark place it was cold and damp I could hear everything around me it was like someone turned car speakers on maximum volume.

my mouth hurt my thoart was burning and then I saw where I was. it was night and i was laying on a gravestone.their was someone near by I looked ahead of me and saw Dante smiling at me. I could see his fangs in the moonlight.

I screamed only to find his hand covering my mouth, please don’t be scared my love he said his voice was like silk

my love he had said I was no ones love he released his hand and I said who are you my name is Dante knight and you are my child now ok freak what are you saying I’m a vampire I made you now you belong to me now and forever

said Dante why didn't you just kill me I don’t want to live forever I cried as I went for a strike to hit him but I fell still weak and he caught me in his arms. you need to feed my love and soon i found ourselfs zipping through the trees. then we stopped and I saw that we were at the town park. Let me show you how its done said Dante I saw a group of jocks that went to my school standing around the swings drinking and smoking up a storm I then saw Dante move toward them and strike. they screamed and started running but Dante was faster and they were all dead within minutes.

'you killed them you bastard i yelled as he dragged me over to one of the boys and made me look at the blood running down the dead guys neck, my eyes were glued to the ruby red substance and I found myself lowering my head down to drink. as soon as the blood hit my thoart the burning stop and I kept drinking.

Come my love the sun rises and we can not" " you want me to sleep in a coffin yes we have to said Dante as he pulled the lid off of his and climbed in you can sleep in your own or you can sleep with me for the day" I looked at him then at the sun and so i chimed in with him for the day

after we rose that night he told me I could never go home

he said he had planned by fake death and so we carried it out

why did you chose me what's so great about me I asked

I chose you for your heart and maybe I was lonely he answered

maybe someday I will tell you the whole truth and that was all he said

but of course he never told me anything as the years and ages went by

after a long time I left Dante seeking answers on my own

after awhile I found myself wandering around, I didn’t have a precise place I wanted to go

I finally found myself at my house, from when I was a human.

My house was a old farm house but later was remolded into a three story house, so as I looked up at the rotting three story structure I smiled a sad smile and pushed open the door. Their at least was a hundred years of dust and decay. Why didn’t the town’s people tear it down I will never know.

I could hear mice and rats scurrying around and the floorboard Creeking as my boots make a click sound on the wooden floor. Had it really been a hundred years I can still smell my mother cooking in the kitchen and father reading in the study. And my brother zack and I swinging on the swings in the backyard. Life seemed so perfect back than and me being the most puplur girl in school I was on the cheering team. But I knew I was shallow in some ways and I learned a lot from living forever.

I passed zack’s old room he was gothic so the room was all black he loved vampires back than.

Than their was my parents room they were hippies so they never really paid attention to what we did. And last but not least I stepped into my room and everything was just the way I had left it that night. But the sent of humans was long gone. Than finally I came to My room.it was pink and blue with roses on the walls, the first thing I saw was my full length mirror that was placed by my window and I walked over to it wiping the dust away with my hand and I saw nothing of me their was no reflection of a tall girl with red hair silky and green eyes with freckles. Only the reflection of the dirty wall behind me. Without looking away I fall onto my dust coated bed and began to cry.

But that’s when I felt something hard under my pillow I reached under it and felt a little book.

I pulled it out and found my old diary.

as I began reading I was learning more about my old self and the people I knew, my friends and family.

as I was reading I heard a faint knock on the door. I ignored it and kept reading. then the sounds from outside grew so loud I couldn’t even hear myself think, much less read.

so I looked out of my window and saw the most handsome boy in the world.

as I was looking at the boy I noticed he was wearing all black, I ,mean I have never seen somebody wear as much black as him. black pants black t-shirt black jacket and black boots, he even had black hair with gold tips flaming around his face. he was the prettiest person you have ever laid eyes on.

I called down to him, what do you want?" I said trying to sound annoyed. I came by to look at this house, I would like to buy it, are you the sales lady?

what? uhh no I am not, and this house is defiantly not for sale, and who are you?"

Well I am, Hayden Alexander, and why is there a for sale sign if its not for sale?"

"ummm, because I just bought it, duh, now get lost."

"okay, well can I have your number



"what? what wrong with you, no you creeper my mind was screaming "STALKER!! HE NOW KNOWS WERE YOU LIVE!!!"



well okay I guess i will see you at school, do you want a ride?"

"ugh you don’t give up do you?" I said sounding rather harsh



fine what ever ill see you around. and by the way what’s your name?"

"umm my name is...Frank..go away!"





"okay, ill see you at school Frank, it was nice to meet you!"

and of course I couldn’t help but laugh as he left.

when I got to school everyone was staring at me as I pulled up to the school and got off my Harley, I decided to wear a black mini skirt and a black tank top and my vans.

then I went to the front desk to get my schedule and their was Hayden.

the princable was yelling at him and from what I could tell Hayden had flattened all of the tires on the princable new Cadillac.

I tried not to laugh but it was just to funny so I just acted like I got a phone call and laughed historically, then Hayden and the princable turned to stare at me and then I just laughed harder. when I was finished laughing everyone in the office was staring at me and when I looked up at Hayden he just winked at me and smiled. I got my schedule and the lady at the front desk assigned

Hayden to show me all my classes because he told her he knew me so we also had all our classes together. and that kind of annoyed me, I have been so use to people ignoring me that it was weird to have somebody except me for me, even if he didn’t really know me haha.

he started showing me around the school, of course I knew were everything was because this used to be my old school, and i tried to ditch Hayden as much as possible, i finally just went to the girls bathroom and was looking under the toilet seats when Hayden walked in and asked me what i was doing as he laughed at me.

i whispered, your not supposed to be in here, you know that right Hayden said, well since im supposed to show you around--" I cut him off, "so you follow me into the girls bathroom? I think i know what to do in here." he laughed and said, " well you obviously don’t if your sticking your hand in the toilet!" "well if I tell you have to help me find it, deal?" "hell yeah okay babe so what are

we looking for?" "okay, first of all don’t call me babe, and lock the door so know one walks in and third were looking for a key." he looked confused as he locked the bathroom door, "so what kind of

key? is it a key to your heart?" he said smiling at me. "ugh this is going to take forever and no its not 'a key to my heart', now hurry up and look before somebody notices the doors locked. we started

searching all the toilets when he finaly yelled, "I got it!" i ran over to him and grabbed the key from him and inspected it. it was a little golden skull key. Wow that’s what you wanted me to find? you know how many toilets i stuck my hand into to find that little key? how important is the key and

what does it unlock he said anxiously. "well i dont really care how many toilets you went into, and thank you, and i cant tell you anything else so you can leave

now." he looked at me and pouted giving me the puppy dog face, "oh come on that doesn’t work with me." i said giggling a little. he started to move closer to me so i backed away and i was up against a wall. "shit" i thought, what am I going to do now?" i asked myself. he got close to me

and put his arms on either side of me so I couldn’t move, he leaned his face close to mine until we were almost touching, i could taste his breath, " okay now why don’t you tell me about the key, before i do something horrible he said with a dark chuckle. "haha your going to do something

horrible to me?" you laughed quietly and he leaned closer and whispered, "haha you know absolutely nothing about me, you don’t know what I am capable of." he said smiling, his eyes were so dark it looked like a bottomless pit that I could just fall in forever. "no, I don’t know what

your capable of, but I know what i am." I said slipping away from him and going out the door, he started to run after me but I was no were to be seen, he looked all over the school, but he didn’t look in the boys bathroom. you were looking for the key when some one walked in, "shit i forgot

to lock the door." I thought to myself. i jumped up on the seat and held my breath, then i looked down and their was Hayden laying on the floor looking up at me. I like the view from down here." he said while looking up my skirt, i jumped of the toilet and told him to go lock the door,

but when I walked out of the stall i turned and saw the princable standing in the doorway with his arms crossed. " well, well what do we have here? 'go ;lock the door so nobody comes in'? he asked staring me down. And what were you two going to do after Hayden locked the door? " he asked looking at both of us. Hayden turned around and went into the stall next to the one you were just in and locked the door, you both turned and looked at the door, about two minutes later he walked out

and then he yelled, "run Frank!" and so you jump out the window and you see him as he is running around the back of the school to meet me, we both got on my Harley and speed off, when we got to my house he pulled out the other key from his pocket. " were did you get that?" you asked as you went to grab it from his hands but he pulled it away. "nuh-hu-hu" he said smiling and winking at me, I was furious I needed those keys "ugh just give me the keys!" why do you want them so bad? and

what are you going to do to get it from me?" he said. well I will do what ever it takes to get that key, you have no idea what you are messing with, I need that key, it’s a matter of life and death. please

give me the key." okay, well here's the thing 'Frank', I want you, and you want the key, so we need to work something out here." he said smiling again. I leaned closer to him and got really close to

him, I was so close to touching him, he closed his eyes and I kissed him and grabbed the key from him and ran upstairs and locked my door. "aww come on that’s not fair your such tease!" he said

while running up the stairs. I finally got up and unlocked my door and let him in. Thank you!" he said sighing and laying on your bed. "okay, I have another deal for you." I said smiling and laying

down on top of him. "haha well what kind of deal is that?" he said looking at me. Well I need a third key, and you'll never guess were its at!" ".....were is the key, and what do I get in return?" he said

smiling. Well, umm its kind of in the princables office, and well i mean you go there enough anyways it woulnt be hard for you to get

it, and you can have what ever you want in return he smiled and closed his eyes as if he were thinking about what he would want in return and then he sigded and said "okay" "oh and you have to give me the key by lunch tomorrow, and im not going to be at school so when you get it come

to my house and ill give you what you want, okay?" "okay" he said smiling then I rolled off of him and he rolled on top of me, (that was so not planned) then he slid his hands up my shirt and started kissing me, I just laid there getting really (really) mad at him and when he realized i

wasn’t "participating" he got up and said he was sorry, I kissed his check and said thank you and then I left so I could feed, being so close to him was killing me inside, I think im falling for him i was thinking to myself as I drained the human that was walking in the park. I went home hoping

he wasn’t still their, and he wasn’t Yay he finally left was what I thought when I laid down on my bed and closed my dairy and I fell asleep that night thinking about Hayden Alexander.





CHAPTER TWO

Hayden Alexander I cant fall for him and yet I seem to like him I cant let him fall for me

I have to let him go but why cant I make myself leave don’t get me wrong being a vampire comes with good equities like living forever and to have powers beyond your wildest dreams but it come with a price and the price isn’t worth the pain. I mean watching your loved ones die and never going

out in the daytime its unnatural and I know I will never find heaven because I have killed so many people and yet it doent bother me that I wont go to heaven because I have lived to long to even think about it anymore. I have lived and never loved but I wont love until I kill Dante and keep the vampires in check In the vampire realm. Do I sound like I want revenge that’s the question I ask

myself all the time and I don’t have a answer? Do I want revenge or do I just have a death wish. As I walked bare footed through the gardens of Verona Italy I held back tears and I wonder what I was

going to do, I could leave but I need the key and it wasn’t going to work because I couldn’t leave Hayden alone.i heard footsteps coming and I began to run leaving the night behind me. Because I

knew if I stayed to long in one place Dante would find me and me being a vampire hunting in Verona Italy was not a good idea so I headed back to los angles and to Hayden so I could keep him safe from Dante and from me as well. My Hayden why did he have to make me feel.

Hayden had broken into the princles office after he left frank’s place god he wanted to know her name and yet things about her scared the shit out of him, but he liked her and he wanted adventure.

I want to run away with her, what is her real name I know I can look in her file and get her name,

Hayden looked around and opened the desk marked files and found the new student file.

ok lets see here her picture should be in the file, Hayden found a file that read Charm Laroux but no picture only short history of this girl. This cant be her said Hayden. He read only a short history about a girl that had red hair and green eyes and that she loved to paint and read and write sad poems and

that she was living alone but wanted to go to school but their was something blacked out in her file and their was only a single word that he could make out and the word was vampire.

Ok that was weird vampires are not real and why was the word vampire written on her file? That was her life it sounded like a lie to him and she was hiding something,and he was going to find out what

that was.but he liked her and it he wasn’t careful he might just fall for the girl whatever her name was. she was from L.A. and that she had moved away with her aunt when her parents were

killed in a shooting in a night club she had only been 10 years old and than after her aunt died on her 17th birthday day she had moved back.

Charm knew that Hayden would find out uncover the truth very soon and she had to move fast by hiding the two keys away from her house until he got her the third key and by feeding more so she wouldn’t hurt him. The price I pay for trying to be human said charm as she locked her fridge door that held her blood bags she didn’t want to risk going hunting until she could handle Hayden, time to go meet the human said charm as she grabbed her car keys and locked the door to the house. “Hey Hayden mind if I sit here” asked daisy dukeson no not at all but I’m meeting someone said Hayden.so who are you meeting asked daisy? Oh the new girl answered Hayden. “so you cant come to my end of the year party tonight asked” daisy? Umm maybe I will see doesn’t school end like tomorrow asked Hayden. Oh yes it does said daisy. So are you and the new girl a thing? Yes I think we are but

we will date this summer and next year you know because she came at the end of the year said Hayden. Oh well I cant have everyone said daisy as she got up and said 12:00 don’t be late and bring the new girl as well and she walked off leaving Hayden to go meet frank. So Hayden came over

after school and gave me the third key, but I was hoping he wouldn’t Mention what he wanted in return for the key, but of course he menchoned it. Frank Hayden said I want to date you so will you

go out with me? I thought for a second am I falling for him or what so should I say yes? So then I answered yes?!? You mean it asked Hayden? Well yes I never had a boyfriend before and well it might be fun to get out and enjoy life said charm. Than will you

mind telling me the truth about yourself Charm Laroux or if that even is your real name? Have you been spying on me? No I looked in your school file.

How dare you and why didn’t you just ask me? Would you have told me asked Hayden?

Well no I wouldn’t have but what do you want you big jerk and I have ways to make people disappear and never to be found again do just try and make me mad and see what happens said charm. So can we stop with the lies and just tell me the truth I’m not a bad person and I would like to

know you Charm said Hayden. If you will let me? Know me im the devil you will get hurt with me near you its better if you leave me alone I got some bad guys after me and if they knew you were with me they would hurt you Hayden so just go said charm. I wont leave you all alone said Hayden. Why would you do that you don’t even know me said charm? Let me make that choice

said Hayden kissing her on the lips before leaving her house that afternoon. Little did charm and Hayden know that something was stalking them both.



Dante knight smiled to himself as he watched the human boy leave charms house, humans they don’t know a thing. So after a century she had finally come home still not finding her answers but finding a

toy instead that made Dante smile even bigger. Well well my sweetheart its time to have some real fun. “Chandler, johnny pay our sister charm a visit wont you ordered Dante. what should we tell her my lord. Tell her Dante sends his regards.
