Is beef and mushroom ragout...

Now, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to cooking or baking...I'm always looking for an easier way to do things, so when I found a slow cooker at my friends place (I'm house sitting for 2 weeks) I thought I'd give it a go.



I've never used one before, but I believe you just throw some ingredients in and leave it to cook.

So what I've done is brown a kilo of diced beef, two rashers of bacon, about 10 small button mushrooms and the same of some small onions.



I then put it in the slow cooker with a packet mix, can of tomatoes and a splash of red wine. It smells divine and it's aromas have been oozing out into the house for 6 hours now. I really hope it all turns out : )

SSC...Safe, Sane and Consensual

RACK...Risk, Aware, Consensual, Kink



Safe...attempts should be made to identify and prevent risks to health

Sane...activities should be undertaken in a sane and sensible cast of mind

Consensual...all activities should involve the full informed consent of all parties involved



Risk-aware...Both or all partners are well-informed of the risks involved in the proposed activity

Consensual...In light of those risks, both or all partners have, of sound mind, offered preliminary consent to engage in said activity

Kink...Said activity can be classified as alternative sex



I think although these acronyms are quite similar, yet are also very different. SSC to me seems very black and white whereas RACK could come across as being more individualised...



When I first started out in the scene, I played by SSC as I was, for a better choice of words, a "beginner" and kinda scared and intrigued but still wanting to be safe.



Now, as experience and the length of time has come into the picture, I'd say RACK would be more to how I like it...

Being a fan of edge play, exploring that line or edge that fucks with your mental and physical comfort/discomfort, there's certainly more potential for you to reach that point, especially with experienced Dominants and submissives.



Anyway, what are your thoughts?

Consensual need not be "fully informed" but at least well communicated.



For example - sit down and discuss the possible negative triggers and hard stops ahead of time. But it is still up to the dom to push the sub's limits and build anticipation and tension, as long as he/she respects the boundaries set forth prior.

The morale is low at work...We've had the "talk" and my company is looking at firing and/or offering redundancy for 12 people...Kinda sucks as I don't really want to be there anymore but being out of a job is even worse



I have no idea where I stand in regards to what section I'm in on the "list" but I'm hoping because I bust my arse every day, that it'll save me at least til I find another job...



Updating resume tonight then it's off to the adult shops hahaha
