It's been weeks...and I'm still waiting

Gods above I'm getting old...I've just been IM'd by my niece. She's 12! I use to change her diapers! GAH!

Have we opened or closed a door? Or have we simply done both? Closed the door on our childhood and opened the door to what is us, here and now.

...and I miss you.
