So this is what it feels like to relax!

Ok, so Mon I officially hit the wall. I slept through my alarm only to be awoken by my boss with a phone call asking, "where are you" 45 min after I'm supposed to be at work. Now it takes me 30 min to get to work and an additional 15 to shower and get dressed. So for all of you that don't want to do the math, I was and hour and a half late for work. Great way to start the week. *rolls eyes* I worked until noon only to have to face going to a class where my professor is a nut job. We spent the first 45 min going over the syllabus....again. Oh and how she'd been reported to the head of the department by a student who said she MADE them go buy a three ring binder...christ! Aren't we supposed to be learning about Western Civilization?! I get out of class and proceed to think about all the crap I have to get done before I even attempt to go to bed. Weight Watchers, laundry, feed and water the cat, change her litter box, get some homework done....well I never made it to my WW meeting. I ended up at my girlfriends house. Proceeded to verbal vomit on her and she handed me a drink....HOORAY for coconut rum. So Mon was a wash...I was in and out of tears all day and just feeling completely hopeless.

Tuesday was a better day. I got to sleep in, got a few things done...stopped stressing over the stupid shit. Wednesday I was doing much better, decided I needed to get the hell out of dodge. Came home made reservations for a B-n-B in Cape May. Finally, something to look forward to. Thursday was another fine day, hopes getting up, feeling better about the world around me. Then Friday comes, I slept through my alarm...again. This time I was only 45 min late, but still...can we start the week over?

So I arrived in Cape May at 9:30 this morning. Went to breakfast and started my day with a Mimosa, yes folks, alcohol before 10am. ;) Checked into my room and took a lovely stroll around town. Came back at 1:30 and dug into my homework. It's amazing what you can accomplish when there isn't 3 million interruptions or when I can think of 300 other things I could be doing in my room. Went to tea, (yes tea) at 4. Had a lovely conversation with other guests.

Looking forward to dinner and a night of rest without the television blaring from the room across the hall. So really, this is what it feels like to relax huh? I could get used to this...
