Martin lay next to his wife, usually after sex he was able to sleep. but tonight he lay next to his wife already spent but starring at the ceiling unable to sleep. Jessica was with child, his child. if it were a normal situation he supposed he would be pleased. but he had her as his prisiner, locked away in a hidden room where no one would be able to find her and he could keep her till he tired of her. he was not sure what to do. should he let her keep the child or should he prevent it frome being born? what to do? what to do?

he felt his wife stirring next to him so he turned to her and once more took her body. afterwards once more with the unborn child in his head and no solution he decided that in the morning he would ride out to his brothers estate and ask for his advice.





the next morning he rode out to his brothers estate he was greeted by his sister in law. a short woman with firey red hair she was pale with red freckles among her cheeks. she was well rounded and beautiful but still his brother had a mistress to please him when she wouldnt. he bended down and kissed her cheek he smiled at her "my lady how are you this pleasant morning?"

she smiled back at him "things are well Martin how is your wife?"

"she goes well running after our wayward child." he thought of his first and only son Mathew "tell me is my brother at home?"

she sighed "he is in the library he has spent the last 3 days there and only comes out at night to sleep and have sex or to go to the pub. hopefully you have better luck than i to draw him out"

he smiled once more and kissed her cheek before searching for his brother. he found him in the library as his sister in law had mentioned locked away in the room frowning at the newspaper. he lifted his head as Martin walked in "hello Martin to what do i owe the pleasure of you visiting me here?" he stood to shake his brothers hand then offered him the chair in front of him

"Lucian i find my self in need of your advice"he stared at his brother.

Martin told him about Jessica being pregnant, of not knowing wether to let her keep it or kill it. Lucians brows furrowed in thought his gaze distant as he sought an answer for his younger sibling.

he looked back at Martin "kill it" at Martins blank face he explained "the child will have both your features both hers and yours. peolpe might recognize them as her child and become suspicious. Edgar still has officers in search for her he still wont abandon hope that he will hind her. no matter how many times weve spoken to him and told him it is of no use and you know that. and you cannot raise the child it is a bastard and you will have to provid for it and raise it but you cannot do that for fear someone can recognize her features in him or her"

that night he gave the orders to the gaurds he stood and wathed as one of the gaurds punched her stomach making her bend over in pain. then the other slapped her, he watched as she fell side ways then the same gaurd kicked her in the abdomen she spit out blood and groaned in pain.



she couldnt believe it he knew she was pregnant and he had her beat to kill the unborn infant! she felt a sharp pain in her stomach she curled more into her self on the floor and felt hot tears spill over. shed lost the child. even if it was an unwanted pregnancy from a man she hated the child was innocent of all the horrible things Martin was and had done to her. she couldnt beieve it hed had them beat her. she lay on the floor hot tears still spilling over she could feel the gaurds look down at her she felt their gaxe of missery apoun her but she didnt look at them. nor Martin who now smiled he bend down to her and kissed her forhead "sorry love but i couldnt afford for you to give birth to that brat growing in your womb" he kissed her forhead once more then walked out the room followed by the gaurds. she heard the door click indicating that the door was once more locked.

still she lay on the floor weeping for the child who had grown in her stomach for two months just to be killed by a cold hearted bastard of a man. the pain from were the gaurds had hit her didnt matter. but the pain from a lnow lost child cut her to her soul. even if she hadnt really wanted to be have Martins child it still hadnt desreved what hed done. she tought of her son whom still lived with her only love edward she hoped they were both safe. she prayed that her son and husband be safe and away from harm. and she was so thankful that edward in no way was similar to Martin that Edward actually loved their cild.

their she lay for the rest of the night weeping for the poor unborn infant whod so cruelly been taken from her. she lay ther on the cold hard floor until somewhere in between so many tears she fell asleep the blood now dry on her mouth and floor.

another month had passed by she was still trapped in Martin's hold. still suffering under his oh so gentle hand. she awoke for the 5th time this week to throw up. the last time she had woken up like this was when she had been pregnant with her first child.

she froze could she be pregnant with Martin's child? it couldnt be....god she hoped not!! the thought of being pregnant with Martin's child mad her so sick she threw up again.



she awaited for Martin to enter the room that night hoping that the possibility might make him stop. that he would atleast stop beating her if not rapping her.

the next day Jessica was blindfolded and tied by her hands by the gaurds. one harshly pulled her along she couldnt see where he was taking her. she hadnt even bothered asking them were they were leading her too for she knew they would not answer. so she just followed not speaking not seeing only feeling his hand on her arm as he dragged her some where.

finally they seemed to some to a halt she heard the other gaurd open a door the one holding her shoved her inside removed her bounds and left they closed and locked the room going back to their positions outside the door.

she looked around it was a different room it was bigger and had windows. she could see a lake and trees. she also saw a gate leading to the outside, towards civilization. how she wished she could find a way to escape. she explored her new room for a way out but there was none as always. she went and stood by the window looking out into the lake at the warm sun shinning out side, and she sighed.

she turned at the sound of foot steps and the door opening. she froze as she saw Martin step in and smile at her.

*why was he smiling at her? had he changed her rooms and was about to beat her and ravage her again?*

another man came in behind him he carried a black leather bag. the man bowed to her and smiled.

Martin walked to her and put an arm around her waist. making her stiffen more "i have called the doctor as you asked my darling" he smiled down at her

the mans smile brightened, she sat up and covered her bare legs she stared at the man as her beamed down at her then went to shake Martins hand "congratulations my lord you are indeed to be a father. your wife is two months pregnant with your child"

Martin smiled back to the man then lead him out all the while Jessica world had frozen. once more turning for the worst. it was confirmed she was with child. she was pregnant and the father of her child was Martin. still in shock she was blinded and tied, she was lead back to her original chamber. she still couldnt believ it...........

she couldnt believ it she was actually out in the open. she could feel the cool breeze against her skin, the warmness from the sun, smell the flowers the scenery was beautiful. she forgot about the two gaurds that followed her. she actually smiled a little as she walked among the different flowers and roses. how her life had changed in one month. she was now some mans play thing. she awake each day with absolutely no hope knowing that hed come back once more and use her.but at this very moment among the garden all was well. she could almost pretend that all that had happened was just some horrible nightmare. though deep in her mind she knew it wasnt.

she breathed in once more the wonderful smell of the garden and closed her eyes as she realesed that same breath in a sigh. she tilted her head up to the sky and almost smiled but she was unable to. she opened her eyes once more and looked around her for a place to sit. there was a bench next to a rose bush so she went and sat completely ignoring her two gaurds.

she allowed her mind to clear of all the horrible things that had happend to her. of the fact that later tonight Martin would be back to use her once more. she spent her hour there tacking in the scenery and tending to some of the damaged roses. it was all peaceful she wondered how such a horrible man keep such a peaceful apearance. she was enjoying it until one of the gaurds told her it was time to go back to that stuffy room.

she went willingly for fear that one of them would shoot her with one of his pistols even if death was probably her one and only way to be free of Martin. they locked her in a her room once more she sighed and sat on the bed having nothing to do but await the night for him to abuse her once more. she still couldnt find a way out she had already begged the maids and gaurd for helped. she was tired of it especially since they would only look at her with pitty in their eyes then walk away. and she carried bruises among her body all given to her by Martin. she saw no way out of her living hell no way at all.

she stood under the hot sun of england tending to the roses in her garden watching her son play among the gardens with his cousin. she shaded her eyes and smiled at the nurse who signaled that it was now time for the children to have their lunch.she watched the children leave with a smile on her lips.

she was able to open her eyes completely and make them focus she saw the hand that was touching her between her thighs. yet she could not recognise the touch. it was not her husbands. she looked up in a sudden panic and looked to see that the man that was now touching her and trying to arouse her was indeed not her husband but another.



he smiled "ah youre awake now are you? ive been sitting here waiting for you to wake up and couldnt seem to keep my hands off of you"he stuck another finger in her.



she tried to squirm away he followed not moving his hand "your not getting away from me this time. you may have married that redicous man but now your mine after 4 years of waiting your finally mine"he chuckled



she was able to move enought that she slapped him then made a sudden dash for the door. but it was useless for he grabbed her by the hair and slapped her across the face. she was now dizzy and in pain. "why? why have you decided to make me your prisoner? why me?" a tear strolled down her cheeck as he pressed her agaisnt the wall as he kissed her cheeck.



"why? you dare ask me why?"he gave a histaric laugh"because you have been my obsession for the past four years.ever since i saw yu at that ball. because i knew you were ment for me not for that stupid edward. how could you choose him over me?"



"i love him. please i beg of you let me go back to my home i will tell no one of this just please let me go"



he laughed"let you go..why would i wish to do that?ive wanted you for the past four years and now i finally have you were i want you. locked away were only i can find you and i can take my pleasure of you."he squeezed her breast as he said the last words. making her bite her lips to swallow back a scream of pain.



then he dragged her by the hair and unto the bed he fastly removed his robe. she tried to run again before he had his way with her,but once more it was useless for he hit her,through her on the bed and did as he wished.



when it was done she lay on her side curled into a ball weeping for how her life had now taken a turn of events. he lay sleeping smiling in his slumber, how she wished she could stop crying long enough to harm him some how to run away before he took notice.

he finally awoke a couple of minutes later he stretched like a cat whod just had a bowl of milk. he stood and smiled down at her as he put on his robe once more. "dont worry darling i shall return later" he unlocked the door and left



finally able to stand she searched the room for a way out. no hope there was not even a window,no other secret door,nothing only the door from which he had just left and locked from the out side. she tried to see if she could open it she couldnt. she turned and slid unto the floor naked. she looked up at the ceiling and saw a huge window but there was no way to reach it. she saw the beginig of her now horrible night. the full moon had never appeared so deressing to her before.....now it did. she wondered what would happen to her,her husband,her child.....?

Jessica still treassured the memory of her waltz with lord Edwin still clear in her mind. They seemed to meat and dance together each night when they got the chance. It had only been a week but Jessica thought she might be growing some sort of infatuation with him.
