St catherine the patron saint of siena died age 33 a 13th century saint of sienna and italy she had her head and finger incased on displays in the Basilica de san Dominico, her head has it's own alter in this church where people prayed. Cappella di caterina is covered with frescoes of her life. To igor and me this seems kinda like jason and his mum on friday the 13th, i thought lmao.. freaky shit and i was amazed at her naturally mummified head as i was told by the guy selling postcards in the gift shop in the church

According to legend , Rome was founded by Romulus. The evil king of Alba who threw his baby nephews into the Tiber but they were washed ashore and suckled by a she wolf and then adopted by a shepherd. They laid out the boundaries of the city, following a disagreement Romulus killed Remus and he became the citys first monach in 753 BC

The catacombs near rome
Catacombe di San Callisto
Hello again more grave goodies, the christian catacombs of rome, pictured above is a pic of the catacombs, the early popes/bishops were here too but they were given rooms or marble seals where the average citizen was put into the wall like bricks. On the 1st year of the aniversary of the death of family or loved ones they would congregate by the grave for a picnic.. no joke i found this out when i payed a visit to these catacombs, this was the tradition in those times for a picnic, so in those days you could bring your grave goodies to pay respect to your dead family or beloved
