in darkness i dwell
beneath the starry sky
begging to my god
please just let me die
ungranted was my wish
and left alone here in the dark
my anger grows withing me
as i sit here in the park
left here on earth and cursed
to wander without hope
if id only been first
i wouldn't have to cope
the blackness grows around me
and yet my eyes don,t fade
and then they peer beyond, and see
behind the darker shade
an angel beholden unto me
or yet an angel not
in robes of white and shackled iron
this being in was wrought
parilized by this sight was i
but yet not all in fear
i couldnt help but heave a sigh
as the mighty being drew near
it gazed upon my haunted face
and stood awhile in thought
it dropped it's sword and in its place
another thing was sought
the figure raised a book aloft
and gravely turned the pages
the eyes and voice were just as soft
and wise as all the sages
the page upon the book caught fire
and it beheld my name
nevermore for my soul
to be beheld again
the world around me began to fade
and night turned into day
and just before i left the glade
i heard the specter say
son of sons, dead you were
before i entered here
you cast away your mortal soul
and never then knew fear
and then the glade had burnt away
revealing in it's place
crimson lake of pain and fire
the unholy house disgraced
the colors faded then to white
and back again to grey
and all my soul entered the night
and my flesh had burned away
