The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I really feel this website is more like a popularity contest anymore. This is suppose to be a place to find all things about vampires - yet why do we rate other's profiles and journals?



Forceful induction is crap - why can't you apply to a house that has people in it that share similar interests as you? And even joining a coven - you are only trying to get the coven's score higher - wtf?



Don't get me wrong - I have met many interesting people on here and that is the only reason I haven't deleted my profile.



It pisses me off that I spent 15 hours making a beautiful profile just to have someone get a wild hair up their ass and decide to strip out and banish half the fucking codes on free profiles. So now, if you aren't a paid member it makes it even harder to get a decent profile rating and you have to find all the codes that were fucking stripped and redo your WHOLE FUCKING PROFILE!!

I really don't think anybody reads these friggin things anyway.



I am really getting dissappointed here. I believe I have been on a useless search now. It seems the only vampires around are psychic ones and people who like to drink blood. However, there is no vampire that resembles anything you would see in movies or in books - they were simply make-believe to keep people from having sex outside of marriage and a way for people to explain why some people were accidently buried alive when they seemed dead.



Although this is dissappointing, after 2 years of being on this site - it is what I see. Those few who swear they are real vampires - are not - they use the same stories one would read or see on tv....



This saddens me, I guess because it would be nice to cheat death perhaps because it would be nicer still to believe somebody would love you forever.....



I have come to grips with the fact that its all bullshit, like the many lies we are told, and tell ourselves throught our lifetimes.
