When people ask me my beliefs, I often wonder the intent for asking.
I get the feeling that some are actually seeking my perspective on Dying.. I tell them I have an Assurance of what happens, having peeked while at the threshold.
Then their are those that press belief as a "must", I get the impression that if I had a belief I subscribed too that they would "poke holes in it, to see if I could float."
As an Escapist I have no intent of being restrained by conceptual elusive spirituality.

I Fear No Unknown! Must of the people I know are skeptic to practices of occult nature.
The refrain.. "Those that don't beileive or "have an open mind" .
It is not out of fear the I do not follow gods, or unknown forces, including deeper meaning. I am more into deeper undertanding at this point, personally the belief phase was a social learning (although restricted in topic).
So belief or assurance?
I'll take a subtle approval, I like to know my friends as well, after I get to know them, not through it, perhaps faith identifys some who feel things are out of their hands the fear could be the belivers

A librarian here, who has in in for me over a past discretion is apparently still set on busting my balls. I use the USB port to charge my IPod something that I have seen others do regularly, she picks me to make have a veiled fit on. I of course by passed her and made her get her Supervisor, nothing further heard.. Haha

Those that attend the Roast, each person in the arranged chat gets Roasted ( a ribbing) from others in the chat, who in turn get placed on the " split".
