Wooooh! Mt tickets are finally booked!!!!! I'm going to Lancashire! My Aunt and cousins live up there, and I've not seen them in ages. Mum went up last week, but I couldn't go, so I'm going on Thursday. :D I can't wait to see them! They grow up at such an amzing rate, it's hard to believe the eldest is only eleven. I remember when both of them were born. :) (Gah.....I feel ooooold now) I was thinking of getting them both a little present if I have enough money. From the little Catholic shop in town. Apparently Will (the eldest) did a reading at Mass last Sunday and he was AWESOME. I'm sorry I missed it.

And George is a whizz on a trampoline. :) For a nine year old, he has NO fear. So much so I half applauding half grabbing him off the damn thing.

"Wow that was amazin-GET OFF YOU'LL BREAK SOMETHING!" Heh. There's a video of him doing some tricks online, I'll try to find it.

I've never been so freaked out though. Never caught a train alone before, let alone changed at two different stations.......the chances of me getting lost are highly likely. I'm as accident prone as Bella Swan. Without Edward........damnit.......

Ahhhhhh, nothing like Michael Sheen as Lucian to make you feel better. :) Angelus sent me some swesome screen shots, as I told him my reaction to seeing Michael sans long hair and beard.

"Ooooh, Michael Sheen's in a new movie, let's look at the pi- ARGH! NONONONONONONO!".

Heh.

My head seems to think it's onboard a ship in a particularly violent storm. I can't get my balance. It's not fun. I hope it's gone by tomorrow.

I just had the worst day at work ever. Getting blamed for something you didn't do isn't nice. And the fact that the doctor who started it all told lies? To my face? Not good. Contradictory hypocritical midget arsehole. Just because you're a consultant and have a jaguar and can fly a plane doesn't make you special, or give you the right to talk trash about people and make them cry. ( yes, I cried. I'm not proud of the fact he made me do that). Oh, and then get told off by their boss. Because YOU complained..... After saying what a good job I did.

Stupid hobbit. Yeah he's that small. Napoleon complex!!!!!

Eh..... Who cares......I'm still taller than he is :P and I'm five foot one ish. Heh.

I think I might log onto WoW and blast things apart for an ungodly amount of time tonight. That'll make me feel better.

Angelus is amazing. He just gave me an idea for an awesome photoshoot. It involves a long black wig, black velvet goth dress, and a four hundred year old ruined house. Maybe some deer and peacocks too. :D

I'm going to be amazingly busy for a few days, so I won't get on here as much as I'd like to. I'm effectively running my own lab for a week. We deal with doctors requests, archiving, solvent orders, pharmacy orders, stock orders, doctors multi discplinary meetings and glassware. While the prospect of being on my own is as scary as hell, today has gone ok. :) I'm enjoying being able to plan my own day. But I think I'll be relieved when I rotate to another lab in the department next month! Less stress! :)

I finally got my hoodie! :D But I have to collect it from my local delivery branch coz it's too big to fit through the letterbox. -_- Leave it with a neighbour! in the designated safe place! DUH! I've been waiting for this since January! Karma Gods gimme a break!

...............Yes I'm a little tetchy today.............I'm not having the most wonderful day at work. Due to it being busy in the lab I'm in, and then being pulled out of that one to work in another one. Oh, and I can't use my left arm very well. I had a HER2 test (injecting TB vaccine under the skin) to see if I have any resistance to TB, and I had a Hep B vaccine too. That's whats hurting like a sumbish. I know it's suppose to hurt a little bit.........but being unable to stretch or use my arm? what the hell??

*sigh* Hopefully now I've worked out all my anger so I don't attempt to kill any of my colleagues when break is over.

I'll be trying to get myself on here tonight, but I may be lurking for most of it. I have some pictures to upload from my camera, and I still have to install the photo editing programme Angelus sent me. Where I put that thing, however..........

I shouldn't really be on here.......I'm meant to be cleaning and having a shower to get off the three inches of make-up. Yep. I looked that bad without it.

Damn stupid 12x optical zoom lense. -_- heh.

I found a camera I like, and that seems good for a newbie like me to start photography with- the Fujifilm S1000FD. It's cheap, has some good features, and it'll get me started until I want to upgrade to a better camera. And by better I mean £200 plus better. ;) (Budget won't allow for that just yet. I'll have to save up) If anyone has had any experience with this camera, I'd be happy for some feedback.

The only problem is you have to order it as collect at store......which I could do today, I suppose, or tomorrow, seeing as I wanted to get it then anyway. :)

I can't really get a better deal anywhere else, for budget or what I want. So it looks like you'll be inundated with pictures come sunday. ;)

I should also be coming on here tonight, to catch up with Coven stuff and chat. :)

Advice needed! :) Ok, I'm thinking about buying a digital SLR camera. But I have no idea of what to look for. I'm a novice photographer (if I can even label myself as one) so are there any good makes and models that aren't too expensive? I'd love to be able to do some awesome pictures of the houses and ruins I go to. And while my iPhone camera is ok for very close up shots, I need something better. I can see the picture I want.....but getting it is a whole other story. I'd also like to produce a halfway decent pic of myself, too. So if anyone has any advice, I'd be greatful. :)

i'm not sure what price range you are looking for, but the Canon Rebels are smaller, good and simple to use i started with an xt when i went digital but the xti is good as well.

Nikon also has some good cameras available... i hear the D40 is particularly easy to work with

those are usually what i would recommend for what you are looking for, if you shop around online you can find them for around $500 or cheaper, depending on what you want.

Sony has a couple that are a bit cheaper than both Nikon and Cannon, i've not personally used one, but a friend has an A200 that he adores and it takes beautiful photographs, it costs around $350 to $400 i believe.

happy shopping :)
