So I'm in my home town until the 31st. I don't have cell phone service. I can only get online when I'm able to not have to watch the kids (which is mostly the whole time we are going to be here). My parents keep fighting. There are 2 people here who are visiting there mom/great-grandma (my moms aunt), and they only speak Hungarian. I feel bad because I don't know what they are saying! and I'm half Hungarian!! There is no snow on the ground. Well barely any. Which is one of the only reasons I wanted to come here. Aside from seeing my dying great-grandma and my sister, her husband, and two kids. Those are the only good things about coming. Is to be able to say goodbye to my great-grandmother before she passes. and to see my sister and her family (including her 4 month old baby girl who I haven't seen yet).

We will see how things turn out the next 5 days (including today).

~pj's for when we go to NY tomorrow

So my parents decided that I'm going to get the tonsillectomy. I'm not to excited about that... I mean it will help keep me from getting sick so much. but it takes me a little longer then most to recover... It took we over 2 weeks to be fully recovered from when I got my wisdom teeth out.

Plus I've only had 2 other surgeries... both on my teeth.. one was impacted in my jaw and wouldn't come down. so they put a bracket on it to pull it down while i had braces.

The other was my wisdom teeth.. they put me under for that one... my wisdom teeth were ALL impacted... I was bruised for about 2 and half weeks.

So I'm not looking forward to this... I won't be able to talk for a couple of days..

Doctors yesterday

I just went to the doctors... he said if I have strep it's deep in my tonsils right now..

he also said that I should consider getting my tonsils out... especially if I get strep again in the next few months

I go to New York the day after christmas for about a week... so if I get sick it will be then..

Bad afternoon... bad day really

it seems like for every one good day I have... I have to suffer through 1-2 weeks of bad days...

I didn't sleep well last night first of all. Secondly I found out at about 3:45 this afternoon that my great grandmother is not doing well at all. She is in a nursing home right now because she has tried to kill herself more then once. She needs someone to be able to watch her at all times. She will be 90 this coming up week. I believe on the 9th. She doesn't speak english so it makes it harder on her to be at the home.

I think she has mentally and physically given up. She is refusing to drink and eat. She won't look at any of my family when the go an visit her. Not even when my nephew (who will be 2 in a few months) was rubbing her hand, trying to get her attention. She didn't even make any type of noise.

So if next week I'm not on all that much. It's because I am in New York. Or getting ready to go there. So I can be with all of my family and to be able to go to the funeral...

it could also be ..she is ready to go "home".... if she belives she is going to see the family she has missed for so long and has lived a good life.... then she wants nothing more than to be with her loved ones that have already passed.... i worked in Nursing Homes for many years nd i have seen that alot....

Yesterday - Snowfest/babysitting

Yesterday morning was Saint Nicolause. I got two pairs of christmas socks! oh ya! lol

So yesterday was snowfest! It's was AMAZING! It's pretty much a fair mixed with Floridians trying to bring in some snow for the kids. The snow is really only really fine crushed ice. It was so fun though. We walked from my community to the park (it's super close plus parking closer would have been hell).

The first thing we did was take the kids (one of my nieces, one of my nephew, and the two boys a babysit for) to the snow pile. But we all go into the action! Me, caroline and the boys mom. I got slammed in the face with ice by caroline. It was COLD!

Then we moved on and looked at all the different things being sold and given out (kinda in a flee market setup). There was an amazing native american stand. All hand made pieces. They were beautiful!

After looking around there we moved on to the rides. Caroline and I got stuck going on all the kiddy rides with the kids. The dinosaur ride, the ladybug one, and the Ferice(sp?) Wheel. Caroline doesn't like heights but still went on it for the oldest boy.

Then everyone else went to eat while caroline and I finished off the tickets by going on a "big kid" ride. She got scared lol. I was afraid of squishing her with my hips (it went sideways). Then she and I joined everyone else to go eat.

They then went to go see the horses they had there for the kids to ride on. While caroline and I went back to the native american booth. My mom and I bought her an early christmas gift of a dream catcher. She loved it so much, I had to get it for her.

Then we went back to my house. I sleep for about 30 minutes. I was SO tired from all the walking. But then we went out to babysit. Caroline and I.

When we got there (late) we had to wait for the younger boy to wake up. While waiting we searched the whole house for a spot that my laptop would get internet (we found one). Once little one was up we went to the park. They had a blast! Once we got back we made a ginger bread tree thing. It came out really cute. We also got pizza. Took me forever to find the number for the place. I swear I made the delivery guys night. I gave him an 8 dollar tip on a 15 dollar pizza. Yah I know I tip REALLY well. But depends on how nice the person is about doing their job.

So after we all had pizza. The boys played a little and then went to bed. Their mom got back from the wedding about an hour after then feel asleep.

On the way back to my house we stopped at the park to play in the left over "snow" I got a good bruise on the inside of my elbow, made a couple of little cuts too. But it was worth it. It was great fun. Once we got back to the house with our food that we picked up on the way home (it cooled off while we were playing in the snow), we ate and then I crashed! but was still up every 30 minutes.

but yesterday all in all was a GREAT day

So far in my classes I have an A, B, B, C. Not that great... but that's about a 3.0... maybe more

I want to have a 3.5 so no C's for me again.. and A's over B's
