I meet a little of everyone each day: crackheads, drunks, workaholics, mistresses, hookers. By their appearance, you would never know who they truly are.
They all have important jobs like the rest of society, however, when night has fallen they become one of the ton. They become one of many whom sell their bodies or deal drugs to get by.
I sit back and wonder what as happend to this world. We have no guidance. All they want is for one person to listen and steer them in the wrong direction. ALL THEY WANT is help. ALL THEY WANT is to not be judged and to be treated like a normal person because that is who they are. They do what they to survive.
We may judge, laugh, or make fun of them but in truth, we are all close to being beggars. We need to rely on each other for support. When one of us hit rock bottom, who will be there to catch us. When that same beggar you were poking fun at is now on the same status as you, who would you turn to?
In short, beggars cannot be choosers.
