If I am to be as I once was,
I must bury all that I have now become.
If I am to see with different eyes,
my mind must erase the scars that I hide.
If my body is to bare the pain of my past,
I must strengthen my heart, close it off, seal
the cracks.
If I am to find my way to the shore,
I must loosen the teather that anchors my
core, to the devil who destroyed all that I was,
In his moment of madness,
he took all, I'd become.
My desolate hours are now at hand,
As my guardian monster takes a stand.
My essence bids his blood to flow,
while my nightmare demons find strength to grow.
Through all my mortal insecurities,
my weakness burns a dread disease.
He sacrifices his very need,
to save my soul from a world that bleeds.
