I do not fully understand my bloodline, but I am doing research in the area to find the cause of my individuality, which is exemplified by the following paragraphs. (note: i realize that many of you share some or all of the abilities mentioned, so know that for reasons of privacy and safety not all of my abilities have been listed. These are only to demonstrate my difference to most, not all, vampires.)
Relative toleration of sunlight: I have an almost human toleration of light, to the degree that I can live an almost normal human life, go to school, get a job, etc. Only my eyes are very vulnerable to sunlight, and even these can tolerate it in certain conditions, such as shadows, looking away from the sun, shielding my face, etc.
High rate of healing: This is not so unique, as I have met many vampires who share this ability, but it does help with my skin's natural weakness to sunlight, as it heals itself as it is damaged, except in severe cases. My rate of healing varies to reflect my level of power at the time.
Psychic abilities: (note: This section is one of my less defined sections, and I don't have much experience in the area, so fogive any errors of mine.) I seem to have a natural affinity for the abilities of the mind, as do many of my vampiric friends, but at risk of sounding arrogant, I believe that mine surpass most of theirs. I also seek guidance on this path, so if anyone wishes to aid me, I would be very thankful.
Resistance of Thirst: I have found that although I feel the urge to drink from the blood of others, I can restrain myself much more easily and much longer than anyone I know (although right now I have been starving much too long and must feed soon) who can only last a few weeks without sating their hunger. I have found that I can go months with only the slightest drop of blood during that time. It is not a pleasant experience, and I only resist so long when I have no choice.
Resistance to harm: I have found that i have a high pain tolerance as well as an innate ability to avoid harm. In addition to this, I also am invulnurable to minor wounds, such as small cuts, unless great effort is exerted.
This is all I will say for now, although I may reveal more in future journals.
