Aloof and animalistic, belonging to the Gangrel Clan. Closely associated with
werewolves, I am a shapeshifting vampire. I prefer nature to living in the city and prefer the company of animals than of
humans. I am more known to keep to yourself then to help others. The lone wolf of the decendents of Caine.
The Gangrel
One of the founding clans of the Camarilla. The Gangrel have a profound respect for nature, and dislike spending time within
the city.They tend to emphasize the rights of the individual over the rights of the group, and have great respect for anyone
who can tell a good story. They are wanderers, going from place to place with little respect for domain. It is said that they
are on good terms with the Lupines.
Of all vampires, the Gangrel are perhaps closest to their inner nature. These nomadic loners spurn the constraints of
society, preferring the comfort of the wilderness. How they avoid the wrath of the werewolves is unknown; perhaps it has
something to do with the fact that the Gangrel are themselves shapeshifters. When a mortal speaks of a vampire changing into
a wolf or a bat, she is probably speaking of a Gangrel. Like the Brujah, Gangrel are fierce warriors; unlike the Brujah,
Gangrel ferocity does not stem from anarchic rage, but from animalistic instinct. Gangrel have a keen understanding of the
Beast in their souls, and prefer to spend their nights in communion with the animals whom they so emulate.
Often viewed as barberic and uncultured, the Gangrel are usually looked down upon by other clans. Not that anyone would speak
down to one for fear that they would find themselves headless. Not the most pacient of people, and we don't like to play
games. Because of this, we get irritated rather easily. Our kind is not the brightest, but we are very spiritual and in touch
with the inner beast. The Gangrel are strong, independent, and proud. You don't like humans, and generally only spend time
around them when you need to feed. The Gangrel spend most of their time isolated in nature, where they feel most at home.
Their powers include immense strength and the ability to shape shift. When it comes to dealing with other clans most Gangrel
scoff that the rules and structure of the other kindred. Prefuring to be alone, not liking to play along in their pointless
games. Most have a tendency to get along with the Nosferatu clan though, since they both share the same philosophies in
isolation and are both considered out casts to a certain degree.
Symbol: A predators eye.
Major Sin: Wrath.
Weakness: They have trouble in situations that require complex reasoning.
