Love of Evil
The midnight sky was so clear that night,
The moon let off a glamorous light.
I could see him in the distance drawing ever so near,
His frame and his body becoming ever so clear.
I stood paralyzed in his presence,
He had the most heavenly essence.
His appearance that of a ghostly figure,
A pulchritude of which no man can conjure.
He set forth toward me with eyes ablaze,
Leading my mind into an oblivious craze.
The mere touch of his gelid hand,
Made my heart desire him as if on command.
He whispered softly into my ear,
“Who is this beautiful women I find so near?”
Is not a women but a demon you see,
“ My name is Xihmena I will show thee.”
I opened my arms letting the shawl off my back,
My wings came out in an instant crack.
His eyes widened with terror and delight,
I walked toward him despite his fright.
I asked loudly without fear,
“Who is this handsome man I find so near?”
Is not a man but a vampire you see,
“My name is Francis I shall show thee.”
He closed his eyes focusing upon the change,
His body transformed to what humans would consider to be strange.
His true beauty now shown to me,
Could not have filled my heart with any less glee.
A happiness in which only he could have brought,
He was now part of my every thought.
The change back was quite fast,
For there was no smell of blood to make it last.
His short blond hair was illuminated in the moon light,
Every part of his body was so defined that night.
His skin was fair and perfectly flawless,
His appearance left every women’s heart in bliss.
He held me close without fear,
And whispered so soft so that I could hear.
“What once was lost has been found here,”
Now I do see it ever so clear.
