It was December 23,2008 a cold dark night we were snowed in at our new apartment and my mom was at home i could see how much she hated not being at the office when there was so much work to be done. But she still had her laptop wich was like her husband only more trusting and she always had it near by..you see my mom is a book wrighter she wrights the most fun things to read like about kids with magical powers that they not yet know about or how to use.Well as usual she was sitting in her office at the back of the apartment with her door completly closed to block off all distractions such as carmela my little sister,jake my older brother and me addison cartor...i was sitting on the couch when Jake walked in the front door with a guy i wasnt familiar with but of course we had just moved here at the beging of december and we hadnt quit met people in the other apartment complexes...he looked like a jock the usaul kind that jake hung out with, as they headed into the kitchen Jake asked loudly to the guy loud enough for me to hear..''so Eddy how long have you lived here?'' i could hear Jake opening the refrigerator ''you want a rootbear?'' then the guy i assumed to be Eddy spoke up ''sure i wouldnt mind a drink''. i could see all of Eddy's features he was really good looking with his short brown hair , dark brown eyes ,and you could tell he was the athletic type because of the way his body was built. I could see on the back of his neck he had a name tatooed in dark letters it said penny...girlfriend i suppose i thought to myself.. then Eddy spoke up ''well ive lived here since i was about five i was put up for addoption when i was three thats when my adoppted mom came and took me,and since then this place has been my home'' he smiled and i about had a heart attack ,he had the most cutest smile. I sank into the couch and listen even more.Jake nodded his head and his shaggy blond hair shook ''thats a hard thing to go through bro but its cool that you have a mom now...''he paused and started again ''well i have a mom but sometimes it feels like shes off in a fantasy world with her books its like she's never here and when she is she shut's herself up in that back room and dosent come out untill dinner time but anyways its really nice i have a friend that i can hang out with around here.'' i got up off the couch and headed to my room but Jake said my name and called me into the kitchen as i walked in i observed both of them. Jake sat in a chair at the table laughing at something snoopy our big fluffy male cat did Eddy stood at the counter watching our cat. I was wearing my blue jeans and my christmas sweat shirt that had faded to a light green over the years i'd worn it. and my light blonde hair was in a pony tale down my back. ''what?'' Jake looked down at my yellow tweety bird shoes and shook his head ''do you know where carmelas at?'' i glared at him and said no. Out of the corner of my eyes i saw Eddy look at me i looked over at him as i got a closer look i realized he had freckles and his shirt hugged him and his pants looked like they were made for him they fit him so perfectly.. then i realized i was staring at him my face turned red as he smiled and introduced himself as Eddmin a.k.a Eddy. '' well know that that i know your name'' i laughed ''my names Addison'' i said while picking up my cat who started to sneze on me.i headed to my room the hole time repeating his name in my head, Eddy..Eddy..Eddy. i got to my room and shut the door and sat on my bed snoopy jumped from my arms and i laughed at the cat as it tried to land on its feet but instead landed on its face."i thought cats wore supost to land on its feet" i asked snoopy who started to grumble that sounded something like a trashcan lid falling on the ground, and he walked stiff legged out my door that was left open just a crack. "sighing" i fell back on my bed.
