Spent a solid 12 hours Friday on set with a Hallmark movie shooting locally.
Spent most of the afternoon/evening on Saturday photographing and filming an event in the city.
Sunday I had to process all the media.
I could have slept until 3PM today....
Was that fluff or sincere?
Sometimes I have difficulty with compliments....
Spent yesterday digging up pavers that were put into the ground by the previous owners just to make a foot path around the side of the garage. We're planning on digging up the area to put in a small deck and patio, so the pavers would have been a bit of an obstacle.
Since there isn't much that can really be done in the garden in March, I figured I'd start on the summer project and dig up all of those by hand.
There were hundreds. HUNDREDS. Most had simply been reclaimed by the Earth over time.
Good golly....
Photography work is picking up.
Just got hired to capture another banquet next weekend.
I like this pace. If this keeps up I'm going to have to consider upgrading the photography gear too.
I truly enjoy what I do with my photography these days. I spend a lot of time helping local businesses, helping local charities, helping a lot of organizations that are trying to make a difference in our communities, and create opportunities for marginalized demographics to thrive.
Tonight was a celebratory event for one such organization.
But it was like photographing a wedding.
I'm exhausted. Everything hurts.
It reminds me that I still have a long way to go with my recovery.
Or I'm just old.... whichever it might be, it's unacceptable.
An opportunity to be on a movie set today.
It has been a long time.
Just background work, but it's not the 9-to-5 so I'll take it.

That sounds exciting and like it has potential to be fun!
It was ok. I forget the quality of people they usually draw for background extras. I sat in a corner and read a book until I had to be on set.
