Well, that was a rare and fun 3 months of actually having intelligent conversation with someone.

Perhaps that can happen again in another two or three years...

Life just loves to create challenges, doesn't it?

Life is crazy, the shit that manifests itself out of nowhere.

I was thinking about those weird conversations I'd have with that passing acquaintance that I met here, on VR, so many, many years ago. No idea why she popped into my mind. Something just triggered a memory.

Then I look in an old, mostly ignored email account and there's a message from her, from just days ago, waiting.

We hadn't spoken in over a decade, and there's a message in there, from her, waiting.

What. The. Actual. Fuck.

I'm starting to get used to this drinking all the time, peeing all the time lifestyle.

Who says you can't consume a gallon+ of water per day?

Nothing new to report here, either.

Starting a new job search. My choices appear to be split between employers who want someone that can do 5 jobs while being paid for not quite 1, or employers who want exorbitant levels of expertise while offering entry level salaries.

Thanks, I think I'll pass and keep my COVID free ass at home for a while longer.
