Wednesday might be my last day on set.

The movie does look like it is being shot very artistically. I'm interested in how the final version turns out.

Don't waste your efforts trying to fit into a world that put no effort into accepting you.

Spent the entire weekend making a movie. My usual crew stalwarts, my kids, were completely unavailable. Something about them being adults now and having graduate school, and jobs, and some shit like that.

Just kidding. But it was a completely different experience not having them helping. Made it much more difficult.

Aside for my two lead actors - my partner, and a friend I have made that is an actual actor - I had a completely new team, four of which have had no experience making movies before. It made the weekend a challenge, but we got the film submitted with 8 minutes to spare....

I have never witnessed a more disorganized movie crew / filming process as I have seen the last two weeks on set with this one.

I would be shocked - truly shocked - if they're not running far over budget right now.

First call time is tomorrow, and later in the morning, so I can go into work early first, get some stuff done. They won't miss me as much if I can still accomplish some tasks.
