The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

We had the end of season picnic tonight for my soccer team. Everyone enjoyed it. It seemed much more relaxed and fun having it on a random weekday rather than after a game at the end of the season, or on a weekend.



My kids gave me a very generous thank you gift. Every parent asked me if I was coaching against next year. Some with hope, thinking I would be moving up to U12 where their child would be playing. Some with disappointment thinking the same, because their child would still be in U10.



When I told them I will be coaching both U10 and U12, they were all elated and every single one asked if they could request me again, stating how much their kids enjoyed this season, and what a better experience it was compared to previous seasons.



Maybe it was helping this team find themselves, and win. Maybe it was just that the kids really did like playing for me.



Maybe that is why they won.



Whatever the reason, it was fulfilling for me to see them come along and improve through the season. It is touching how the kids themselves have asked if I will be their coach again next year.



Pure gold.



I hope in the end, this makes a difference to them in life....

My kids won tonight, 2-1.



They are officially the Champions of their U10 Division.



I'm so proud of these kids and how hard they worked for this.
