Or the people who practice cannibalism change into the beast and are soon doomed, driven mad by greed and gluttony and forever live in a state of starvation. in modern times it is thicker and hairy but, still stalks the forest. it has adopted wolf like traits and traits of bigfoot but, it still is bipedal. it is now dark brown rather than ashen gray and it has become a fierce feral hunter. it is seen extensively in our literature and media. does the original beast still stalk the forest or has a new one replaced it that lurks in the human psyche?
