It is not always wise to rush in and face your enemy right away. Many of your enemies will set a trap for you; they bait you, hoping you will allow your anger to control your actions. They want you to take the bait because they have a hidden strategy that you know nothing about.

Don’t be tricked into taking the bait. Remember, not everything is as it first seems. Your enemy will not be as honorable as you; he will be devious and unscrupulous. He will do everything in his power to not have to face you man to man.

Be smart about your response. You must out think your enemy, as well as be able to out fight him. Sometimes it is better to wait for the right time, a perfect time when he is both unprepared and does not expect you at all.

The element of surprise is a powerful tactic. If you catch your enemy unprepared, you can completely void his strategy. Refuse to play his game by his rules. Be unpredictable, be cunning, and be smart. Trump his strategy with your own.

Always remember, the most important thing in any war is walking away the winner. Be willing to seemingly lose a battle or two, to win in the end. Be courageous, but don't be rash.
