“Lilly can you keep it down we will be there soon.” As Lilly sat in the back of the car with her mum and dad in the front. Her dad was driving the car. It had been a really nice day but it had just started to rain. The rain was pouring down very hard on the window lilly couldn’t see out of the back window. She hoped her sister was ok. She was away on a school trip camping out in the rain all cold and wet and Lilly was on her way to see her grandparents. She went there every weekend on a Sunday for tea. Suddenly she saw a car coming towards them. It was spinning out of control the car crashed into hers with a big bang and it all went black.

Lilly woke up. Not knowin she was in hospital. As she looked around she saw her parents crying by her side and heard a doctor’s voice saying, gently “you can take her home now.” When she heard this she felt a cool breeze. Then she fell asleep again. She was suddenly awake in her familiar bedroom, just as she left it before the accident. The door saw closed her mum must have closed it when she came in. But, it was strange because she always left her diary under her lamp on the bedside table. But, now it was lying on her bed wide open. Someone had read it! But why? She found she could get out of bed quite easily and she was so angry, anyway, that she didn’t feel anything. She ran downstairs as if nothing had happened. Like she was before the accident to confront her mum, but when she got there both her parents were crying on the setee she didn’t want to upset her mum any more so now embarrassed she slowly crept back upstairs back to her room, laid down sadly on her bed, and everything went black again.

The next thing she knew, she was in her sister’s room. She thought that she was in there to say sorry about yelling at her. She hated yelling at her sister. She looked around her sister’s room and saw her sister sittin in the corner of her room crying with a book in her hand. She heard a familiar voice reciting a horrible poem that she knew was about her. It was called I HATE YOU. She just keep hearing it over and over again. Her sister wouldn’t stop reading it. It wouldn’t stop repeating it in her head. It was driving her mad. She wanted to yell at her sister to stop saying it.

The next thing she knew she was running out of the room as a book flew past her head which her sister throw at her and heard her sister burst into tears yelling “GET OUT GO AWAY I DON’T NEED THIS LEAVE ME ALONE!” She wanted to go and see if she was ok but lilly knew her sister would just yell at her again which she didn’t want. Anyway why was she back so early from her trip? She was supposed to come back next week. Something must have happened that’s why mum and dad are crying. Why wont they tell me what is going on? She hoped that her Nan and granddad were ok. They never told her anything.

As lilly ran down the stairs into the comfort of her mother’s arms she walked up to her mum crying and tellin her about what her sister said but her mum looked blank at lilly as if she wasn’t there and walked staright on past her. Lilly ran out of the house into a main road in shock she couldn’t see as she was crying so much everything had gone wrong since the accident. A car came hurtling towards her and went straight though her. Suddenly she flashed back to the accident and pain consumed her and took over everything. She had she never felt this way before and she didn’t want to feel it again. She stood in the road slowly realised that she was already dead and had been killed in the first crash.

Then in a moment outside time she sees her sister crying alone in her cold dark room, and she goes towards her whispering that she loves her and enfolds her in her last embrace saying she is so sorry and never ment what she said and to look after mum and dad. As her sister looks up and suddenly sees her. The shock took her over her and the pain left she was left and was replaced with a warm feeling of love and happiness. Her sister has seen her she must tell her she loves her before she goes she wants to say so much but she no’s she doesn’t have the time only a few moments then she goes forever. As lillys grip loosens her sister tries to keep hold of lilly as tries to grab her back but deep down she no’s lilly has to go lilly drifts away into the misty twilight saying good-bye.
