The pain sometimes eats at me,
Throughout the day and then the night,
Stalking prey, it haunts me,
Untill nothing seems quite right.
Many things provoke it,
And make it come so near,
It knows your greatest weakness,
It can smell your darkest fear.
Fast, but sometimes slowly,
When you least expect,
Making you feel hollow,
Greiveing, in a wreck.
It starts in your head,
Then works down to your soul,
Leaving you all empty,
With a gaping hole.
It's hard to describe it's vengeful threat,
Only victims can understand,
The ways it ripps at it's prey so mercilessly,
Its never ceasing demand.
I'm sure that you have felt it,
Ripping at you inside,
Sometime or another,
When there is no where to hide.
Or maybe I sound crazy,
You may think I'm insane,
But I can understand you,
If you can understand this PAIN.
