Imagine coming into Elden Ring having never played Demon's Souls, Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Like coming into 76 having never played another Fallout. Fallout 76 right now... is fucking busted. And they don't seem pressed to fix it. Typical Bethesda.

I went ahead, and got a second ending in Elden Ring. The first time I handed the world over to the Frenzied Flame and chaos. Naturally. This time I gave it to Ranni. And she mentions that it'll be a thousand year reign under the age of stars. Miquella also mentioned that his rule would he a thousand years under a reign of compassion. So there's something to this thousand year thing. Maybe the Outer Gods all agree that when one faction has ultimate control over the world, the rest back off for a certain amount of time. If you can get your humanoid to win out against all other humanoids, you get the prize of being the lead God for a thousand years before the others can try taking it from you. I don't know if that's the case, but why else specifically a thousand years? It speaks to there being a cycle, very similar to Dark Souls. How long has Marika, realistically, been ruling? We know it's a long time, we know she destroyed, warred with, and stepped on many other civilizations/religions to get hers to the top. You want to have sympathy for her, for how she ultimately ends up imprisoned, and tortured, but she kinda deserves it. I believe she did the right thing though, in the end. She knew what would happen to her if she shattered the Elden Ring, and she did it anyway to break the Greater Will's clutch on the world. And we don't know her whole story. She does a lot of awful things, but she seems to have come from a much gentler place. Some horrific tragedy occurred, something killed her entire village before she was ever a god. Supposedly, that's what the jar people are. Way back when she was just a village girl, all of her village was imprisoned, chopped up, and put into the jars as "saints." And then they sorta blob together, and become meat monsters inhabiting the jars. I don't completely understand this concept, or why it happened, maybe I just need to play through the DLC again. That's one thing that makes these games so replayable, you learn something new every time. There are still many mysteries. Like the Goam-eyed Queen, who was she? A lot of people think Melina. I disagree. Melina is obviously a daughter of Marika, she speaks very fondly of her. I don't think GEQ would be too happy with Marika considering Marika, or rather her shadow Maliketh, defeated her. Maliketh defeats her, Marika locks away the Rune of Death into Maliketh, probably at the behest of the Greater Will, and eventually Ranni steals it. But how? Maliketh says that Marika betrayed him, and she's the only one I can imagine who could have taken the Rune back from him. The question then is, did Ranni actually steal it or did Marika give it to her? Because Marika wants the rule of the Greater Will to end, and Ranni was chosen to replace her so maybe Ranni explained her whole plan to change the world, and Marika helped her. It would also explain the Black Knife Assassins involvement in helping Ranni because they were loyal only to Marika. Why would they help Ranni kill Godwyn if not under orders from Marika? You can say that surely Marika wouldn't agree to the assassination of her own child, but... She's arguably done worse.
And here we have another Dark Souls connection.

Interestingly, it also mentions sin. Supposedly, the events that transpire in Dark Souls are all due to some major sin of humanity. It never explicitly states what that sin is. The end of an age or the beginning is also very telling. A lot of people think Elden Ring leads into Dark Souls. I think, if it were the Frenzied Flame ending where everything succumbs to fire, that's definitely a possibility because Dark Souls is all about keeping the First Flame going. Initially, in Dark Souls lore, there's nothing but rocks and dragons pretty much, and then came the First Flame which brought everything else into the world. Imagine the Frenzied Flame burns the whole world to ashes, the only thing that survives is dragons because... They're dragons, they're basically hard as stone. And then it restarts the world becoming the First Flame. I could see it.
You actually get this sword from the Elden Beast's soul, meaning you've killed a God. In Dark Souls there is a particular Goddess of Sin, Velka, and her whole thing is punishing people who have sinned PARTICULARLY AGAINST THE GODS. She's the one who launched the whole punish the entirety of humanity for some big mystery sin a long-ass time ago.
Just saying.
And just like in Elden Ring, you don't see the gods. Gwyn is not a god, he is a LORD. Kinda like... an Elden Lord.

Possibly the most tragic moment in FromSoftware lore. And that's saying something... I dunno, Solaire and the sunlight maggot is up there too. No body gets to be happy in a FromSoftware game. It's kind of their thing.
That son of a bitch just discarded her. Maybe I'm taking that just a bit too personally, but I wanna kill him again xD
I'm pretty sure that's just about it for the DLC. I think I've explored everywhere, killed everyone, job well done xD
So since I'm done with the DLC, and I'm actually also at the end of the main game, I've been playing around with different builds. Sure, my personal build is the classic dex/bloody build. But there are so many other ways you could go, and since the game allows you to restat, for a price, it's kinda cool to conpletely change into something else, and take it for a test drive. For example, a dex/holy build. And if you want to absolutely destroy with holy, this is the weapon.

The Elden Beast is easily my least favorite boss In the game just foe the fact that the fucker won't stay still. It just feels cheap having to constantly chase it from one side of the arena to the other while it blasts you with ranged attacks. They did introduce Torrent into the fight which makes it a little more balanced, and maybe you should go at it like a dragon. It looks fairly Draconic to me. I saw someone say it looks like a dildo... Where are you getting your sex toys, I would like to shop there xD
What exactly does the Elden Beast even represent? It says that it was a star that fell to the world a long-ass time ago, and that's what started the whole Greater Will thing. So it it literally the physical representation of the Greater Will? I don't think it's fully the Greater Will itself, I think it's just kinda part of it. Think Stephen King how Pennywise has a physical representation on Earth, but it's actual full essence is out in the far-flung void. Which is why you can kill the Earthly physical aspect, but It is still out there. I think that's what's happening with the Greater Will, or something similar. I think the majority of it has moved on from the Land's Between, but this physical manifestation is still clutching at the world. I think if the full force of the Greater Will was still there, and still gave a fuck it would have no problem absolutely annihilating us based on it's history of destroying entire civilizations. That, and the fact that everything surrounding the Greater Will seems to be getting weaker and weaker. So why do things surrounding Faith still work? Well, Faith is funny. It doesn't matter if what you believe in is real or not, it only matters that you truly believe in it. Faith is fueled by self. It was never some god floating in the clouds, you gave yourself the power all along. But it's hard believing in yourself, it's easier to trust that some outside source helped you. You know, it always bothers me when people in competition say shit like, "Please God, help me win." So what you're saying is... You're not skilled enough on your own, you need some sorta mystical help? You think you deserve an unfair advantage, that "God" should choose you instead of anyone else there who also asks for help? I know I'm thinking too much into it, it just rubs me wrong xD There's a lot of religious stuff in Elden Ring that makes me stop, and think... religion fucking sucks. Believing in a higher power doesn't make you a bad person, it's how you conduct yourself. And ya know... Marika having Messmer go on a bloody impaling rampage in the name of her faith... Any religion that says, "Im all about light, healing, purity, and the good of all, but... If you don't believe in my God, live how I say you should live, and kneel to my whims then I will kill you or lock you away to be punished for eternity," that's fucked. Of course the Greater Will doesn't represent kindness or compassion, it is a deity of ORDER. So maybe it makes sense to ruthlessly kill people to maintain order and control.

Miquella is an asshole, I'm glad I killed him xD Fuck that guy.
He threw away his heart, his love, his other half. And who is that? St. Trina. It appears, as I suspected, that Miquella was indeed like his mother, he had another half in St. Trina. What did he do with her? He ripped her out, and discarded her. Because he chose power over love, godhood over his other half.
He would've made a terrible God. A God without love, without heart can not know kindness or compassion. He was a fraud.
You know he has this attack when you fight him. He grabs you, and places a sigil over your head. If he manages to grab you a second time, you instantly kneel to him, to choice, you're forced into utter subjugation.
I. REALLY. DON'T. LIKE. THAT.
See I didn't know that when I fought him because he only grabbed me once. When he grabs you he whispers to you about wishing you 1000 years of compassion. There is nothing compassionate about inflicting total forceful control onto anything. That's what his great rune does, that's it's power. That's why everyone in the Lands of Shadow follow, and adore him, it's all forced, it's all a lie, he is the game's shining villain. He discarded everything about himself that made him human. Do you see the disaster that the Greater Will and Marika have brought to the planet? And I think Marika realized that, and that's why she shattered the Elden Ring. She knew everything she had done, everything she was, it was all tainted. Divinity is not pure, it is not good, it has wrought so much tragedy, for her more than anyone. You have to wonder whether she chose to become what she did or if it was forced on her.
In any case, fuck Miquella. Despite having been thrown away by him, Trina asks you to stop him, to keep him from godhood not out of hatred or spite, but because she still cares for him, and believes he'll be miserable as a god. Even though he left her in a dark, awful place, she doesn't want him to suffer. He's still her other half.
You were right, game, you were right all along.
I finally put two and two together on why the game pushes you to kill Miquella. I think Miquella had good intentions, but some very evil actions. It's a lot like Ranni. Ranni, I think, genuinely wants to make the world a better place by getting it out from under the Greater Will. But she does some horrendous things in order to get there. And if you have to do maximum evil to get to where you can do good, is it worth the cost? Maybe the lesson here is that none of these fuckers should he in charge. There's an npc who tells you at one point that Marika herself is, and always was extremely flawed, and that has passed into everything she's done, and into her children, and perhaps everything would be better if her entire line was gone. And looking at the state of things... you can't really say that any of her children have done good. All they've really done is destroy. Except maybe Godwyn who ended up being sacrificed. Seems like he was the best of them so of course he was brutally murdered, an assassination orchestrated by one of his siblings. Maybe Godwyn could have been the God the world needed. We'll never know.

You find this katana close to Bayle's arena, and it... It's not an instant win, but it helps tremendously. When I initially went in against him I took my trusty Rivers of Blood, but it barely chipped away at his health, he's incredibly tanky. This sword though? You're supposed to use this sword to kill him. It works.
The thing I wonder is... An ancient dragon morphed into human form to teach humans dragon magic. Did this dragon also teach these humans to consume the hearts of dragons to become more powerful? Or was that like... accidentally discovered? Because the sorta whole thing about Dragon Communion is hunting down dragons, and eating their hearts to gain their power. For example:

You find this monster, clearly the largest dragon in world, already dead. The evidence shows it's covered in Dragon Communion Harpoons, has a large spear-like weapon jutting out of the back of it's head, and a gaping chest wound. Somebody hunted down this beast to eat it's heart, possibly multiple people. Which is kind of sickening, and I can't imagine the ancient dragons purposely throwing this info out there just to watch their kind be viciously murdered. The dragons at one point go to war with Leyndell, could this be why? It's no fucking wonder why dragons are so overly aggressive in this world.
I also still completely disagree with killing Miquella and Radahn. Miquella wanted to bring forth an age of kindness and compassion, and we show up, and stomp his/her face in. Why?

Screw compassion. Screw everything. The player character is a fucking monster, killing everything. What's the motivation? Why am I not given a choice? I would happily handed over the entire planet to Miquella, and the game forces me to slaughter them.

There's just no reason for any of this. To be Elden Lord of what? OF WHAT? WHAT THE FUCK IS LEFT?
And once again, ya know... If there was the tiniest nugget of connection between Miquella and Radahn in the main game, any little thing, I would be ok with Radahn being there in the end. But there's not. It does not make sense. Like in Volcano Manor you find a portrait of Radahn hanging on the wall so Radahn and Rykard have something between them, some deeper connection. There's nothing like that with Miquella so it just seems slapped half-ass together lorewise.
The DLC is absolutely fantastic. Makes no fucking sense.

Messmer's story breaks my fucking heart.
Rejected by most of his family, outcast and hidden away, yet still he does everything to gain his mother's love and approval. He desperately wants to be accepted by the Golden Order. But he never would be... Because of something he was born with.
Reminds me of someone. Replace fire with crippling depression.
The other Outer Gods seem to have a fondness for coming for Marika through her children, and I guess that makes sense, Marika being very powerful would have powerful kids, perfect for doing your work as a deity. Malenia holds the God of Rot, Ranni seems very close to whatever the Moon god is, Rykard feeds himself to the "god-devouring serpent" which is probably just yet another Outer God, Messmer has something in him, and we know there's more than one Outer God who deals with fire, which could all trace back to ultimately being the same being. It's funny how all of the demi-gods seem to be representing something beyond the Greater Will, and maybe that's the point, that the Greater Will had it's time, and now it's time to move on to something else, for better or worse. I always got the impression that the Greater Will was no longer kicking around anyway. I mean, it takes thousands, and thousands of years for the Two Fingers to communicate with it? Why? Why, for something that could at one point lift an entire civilization up and plunge it underground, does it take so long to respond to a world where people who still have faith in it are desperate for it's help? People still believe in it, but it's like... it's not even there anymore. If it ever was.

I decided to do some dragon hunting in Elden Ring today. Because... waaaaay back when I started the DLC I heard about this dragon, Bayle the Dread. And while I was exploring the general right side of the map, I found, and killed the Ghostflame Dragon. So I kinda went on a dragon slaying binge xD There are various types of dragons across the world.

WHY DRAGON HAVE LASER?
Technically the Dragon Lord also has lasers, but I find them easy to dodge. Sorta. The fight with Bayle is just unfair. He attacks you as soon as you walk into the arena. Guess where your npc summon is? Inside the arena. I dunno why FromSoftware started doing this shit, but it's really annoying, and difficult trying to summon in an npc when a giant dragon is bearing down on you, swiping off 2/3 of your health with every hit. They also don't let you ride Torrent in this fight, and that's a mistake. Dragon big. Dragon fast. Dragon fly. It's much easier, and more balanced in my opinion to fight them on horseback, and even then you're barely fast enough to outmaneuver them. You fight four other dragons just getting up to Bayle, all you can do while on Torrent so I don't understand why they took that away. I just don't like boss fights in general where they are immediately allowed to unload on you. I need a couple seconds
The dragon lore is really deep in Elden Ring. Interestingly, lightening seems to be an important aspect of the older dragons, and in Dark Souls lightening was a Dragon's main weakness. The older ancient dragons also have the ability to turn into humans which they did to teach humans dragon magic. To become powerful in dragon magic you have to consume draconic hearts, and if you consume enough of them you morph into a dragon-being. I think that's how it works anyway. I'm not a caster so it's not really in my wheelhouse. But there's also a very similar aspect in Dark Souls, specifically Dark Souls 3 you can get the ability to transform your character into a human-dragon hybrid.
I then hopped on Fallout, and soloed Eviction Notice for the first time.

It's not that the Lands of Shadow are another world or dimension. They're literally shadowed by a huge veil in the sky. It's the first thing you see when you get there. Put there by Marika to keep this area in the Lands Between hidden, which is really a testament to how powerful Marika is. This is where she hid Messmer after realizing that because of the Serpent inside of him, he'd never be accepted, and possibly hunter down and killed, by the Golden Order. Because the Golden Order is about keeping things pure and perfect. The Lands of Shadow is where Miquella goes after being gravely wounded by Mohg, probably to lay low and regain his strength. How did he know it was even there? You have to remember that it was mostly between Miquella and Ranni, who would take over for Marika. The other demi-gods were fighting for Elden Lord. Miquella and Ranni were powerful enough to become GODS. Not only did Miquella have the power, and following to take over for Marika, but he also developed the method of banishing the influence of the bigger Outer Gods. He could completely do away with the Greater Will possibly. Which is why when given the option to hand the world over to Miquella... yes, that makes sense. Because on top of that, Miquella did not agree with the Golden Order. In the Haligtree, under his leadership, he took in the outcast and rejected, the ones the Golden Order deemed untouchable, he took them in with kindness. He, in my opinion, is the only character who genuinely wants to make the world a better place beyond the influence of an Outer God that demands perfection. Sure, there's Ranni, and she also wants to completely change the world away from the Greater Will, but I feel like her motivations, and actions are A LOT more selfish, and she resorts to some extremely evil things to get her way.
Marika shatters the Elden Ring to shatter her connection to the Greater Will. Because Marika IS the Elden Ring. When you release her from her torment inside the Erdtree, Radagon takes over, and the Elden Ring is literally physically visible under his skin. Marika started out as a simple girl eventually raised to godhood. Was Radagon put inside of her as a part of that deal? Because as hard as Marika tries to destroy the Elden Ring, Radagon tries to repair it. And when you arrive to release Marika from her torment, Radagon is the one who attacks you, not her. Is Radagon even actually something with his own mind and freewill or is he literally the Greater Will inhabiting Marika's body?

Meanwhile in Fallout xD
I discovered recently that my character is completely immune to fall damage. Usually, even from pretty short falls, even with the jetpack, I take some damage from falling. Like if I jump off the lighthouse, it won't kill me, but it will noticeably damage me. I realized, I wasn't taking damage anymore from falls like this. So naturally... I set off to find the highest place I could to test if it would kill me xD

One of the most enduring mysteries is why Marika turns against the Greater Will, and shatters the Elden Ring.
You get the impression that some terrible things have happened to her, way before her imprisonment.
She wasn't always a god. She was just a Numen girl once. Something happened to her people. She was spared. She was chosen.
Why?
She rises up from a simple village girl to become the most powerful, loved, feared, hated, worshipped woman on the planet. But then she destroys it all.
Why?
You can almost look at the Golden Order as Christianity, and the Greater Will as the Christian God. This thing promising goodness, healing, light, everlasting life invades the world that already has a thriving diversity of paganistic religions, practices and gods. And if you don't worship it, if you follow the old ways instead of accepting it as the one true universal power, you're against it, and you're liable to be punished. Just look at Messmer. Messmer is a major Golden Order fanboy. Why? Because it's his mother's, and he's desperate to earn her love, and praise so he impales, burns, murders anyone who doesn't have the "grace of gold," the influence of the Greater Will even though he himself was born with the influence of something oppositional to the Golden Order within himself, the serpent.
Melina has a similar incantation to this where a minor erdtree pops up to heal you in battle. There is obviously a Messmer/Melina connection. But what about Ranni? Ranni is also missing an eye. But she's not really because... it's her doll body, mimicked after an entirely different person, that's missing the eye. But that doll body also has a physically visible spirit attached to it. Is that Ranni? Because the spirit is also missing an eye. I guess it could be that Ranni, missing an eye in life, is just used to it not being there so even as a spirit/doll she keeps it closed. I wish we had a better representation of what Ranni looked like before she died. There are the portraits in the academy, but I don't think any of them are her.

There's actually a ton of stuff I haven't explored in the Elden Ring DLC.

Although... for being like the Lord of Chaos... It took one try. So that's disappointing. I mean, I don't want every fight to be a Radahn fight. It feels like that's how it is though, bosses are either way too easy or insanely too hard. Like the Scadutree Avatar. Holy shit, three phases for a fucking sunflower? And sunflowers don't bleed xD Someone warned me about this boss weeks ago, and I laughed at him for dying to a flower... But fuck that flower.
Fallout 76 is also busted after the latest update. Thanks, Bethesda~
Like, the map is malfunctioning mostly, but I'm also getting a lot of lag. I was in an intense session of Eviction Notice with only three other people, and my gun was about to break, and I could not get to it in my inventory to repair it, the lag was so bad. Now, anyone who's played 76 for awhile will tell you that updates always break something. So it's not surprising. Just annoying because they take forever to fix their shit. Currently they're doing their Holiday Scorched Christmas in July two week event. Honestly, I'd rather it were spooky Scorched, I prefer the spooky rewards, but I guess Halloween is coming up pretty fast anyway. The thing that annoys me though... They do Spooky Scorched the week of, and the week after Halloeeen. I don't understand why they don't do it earlier so you have more time to collect, and decorate your camp for spooky season. It's pretty much over after Halloween so having the event go the week after makes no sense. But again, thanks, Bethesda xD

So... is this Messmer?
It never explains who this statue depicts. You find it in the Haligtree so it's assumed that the children are Malenia and Miquella, but... I never quite understood who it is that's holding them. I always kinda thought it was Godwyn for some reason. What exactly is Messmer's connection to Miquella? Aside from being siblings, and both being connected to the Land of Shadow. Why does Miquella go to shadow world when he's hurt/dying? Especially if Marika put Messmer there to hide him, why does Miquella even know it exists? What is the Land of Shadow? Where is it in relation to the Lands Between? A lot of Elden Ring lore seems to be based around Norse Mythology so... could it be a Yggdrasil situation? The Lands Between are Midgard, and then the Outer God's inhabit differing areas outside of the middle-Earth world, and then the Land of Shadow would possibly be beneath the middle-Earth area. This is making my brain hurt xD

I have fully fallen to the dark side in 76 xD Let me just say... what happened to this person was DESERVED, and I technically did not kill them.

I was in an event, in my spot, and someone comes over, and decides they want it. And at first, dude stays behind me, I'm good with that. I guess he got annoyed though at me killing everything, he decided to deliberately move over in front of me, completely blocking me from one of the areas he's obviously been watching me shoot. Then suddenly we get bum-rushed from behind by a few mole miners, and he fucking goes DOWN. Now... I could heal him, I could bring his ungrateful, selfish ass back. But I decided not to. I'm not the one who shot him, I just didn't pull him back from the icy grip of death, something I could have easily done since he died literally right beside me. I chose evil xD I let him rot. And when he respawned, he stayed the fuck away from me, and MY spot. Petty? Absolutely. But deserved. Don't fucking step up if you're just going to die as soon as you do. Imagine being level 300, and thinking you can stand next to an 800, and dying immediately. Embarrassing. But hey, there were several other people standing around, no body else made a fucking move to revive him. This is why enemies need spawning invincibility frames. It would also help tremendously if they made events grouped. Like the Wendigo Collosus, when you fight him it's only as a group of 7. So if you're number 8+, you go into a separate group. They should do all events like this. All the bigger ones anyway, I think it would help the animosity between players, you wouldn't be desperately trying to outshoot everyone. That or just add more enemies to events. Uranium Fever desperately needs more enemies, I can handle it easily by myself so it's just frustrating when there are more than 5 people there, and there usually is.

Hey, you can't blame me for thinking it.
I'm assuming they're talking about Miquella putting Radahn's soul into Mohg's body. I'm still just... very unclear about that whole thing. Why Radahn. Why Mohg's body. Why not Godwyn? Why not Godwyn's body? His body is sitting around soulless. It would make so much more sense to me... if it were Godwyn. There's really no connection between Miquella and Radahn in the main game. Right? Aside from Malenia kicking Radahn's ass. Why would Miquella betray Malenia by bringing Radahn back? Because if I'm fighting with someone, like literally trying to kill each other, and I successfully kill that person, and my own fucking twin brings them back to life... Betrayal. Major betrayal. I just don't get it xD It's not even that it has some obscure lore behind it, it just doesn't make sense. It's like they just decided to bring back Radahn for shock value. I don't like it. It rubs me so wrong.
Then there's the fact of... Miquella eventually comes out, and tells you that you should leave the world to them. That sounds great to me. The fact that you're even forced into fighting Radahn, why? Why wouldn't you just leave it to them? Why would you have all this hostility towards them? What's your motivation to even give a fuck about being Elden Lord? Cause let's be real, this world SUCKS. Everything is dying and decaying and good luck keeping the Scarlet Rot contained. Lord of what? This is why Frenzied Flame is the way. Miquella I think has good intentions, but... probably better just to let it all burn. Because Miquella, while he has the title of being a god, isn't actually a god. He's a god the way Marika was a god, he's still under the influence of something higher. There are still higher powers in this world/universe. So all the good he does can easily be undone by some salty deity. For all Marika's godhood and power, she sure got her ass handed to her by the Greater Will in the end. Just saying. Burn it all, in chaos ending, you don't have to worry about it anymore. Maybe that's just me xD

I actually straight up left one if my favorite events soon after. Fucking spawn campers... Usually when people spawn camp I walk over, and steal every kill. Because it's annoying. It happens every fucking time in Radiation Rumble, there are always like five people standing at the mouth of the tunnel, desperately trying to kill the two ghouls that shamble out before anyone else can. Or there's the idiots with the explosives. And it's funny when the idiots with explosives get annoyed, and blast the spawn campers in the face. See THAT I understand being annoyed with. Being annoyed with me simply for being faster than you? That's petty. I hate seeing people take the fun out of playing by thinking they're more important than everyone else so they should be privileged, and get to stand right on top of the spawn points. I wish Bethesda would fix this somehow, maybe give enemies like a few seconds of immunity right after they spawn so they have a chance to actually get out into main areas before spawn camp babies shoot them down. It would definitely help the lower levels get a shot in, and it would help with the explosive idiots. Bethesda, initiate enemy spawn invincibility frames. I have spoken xD

Once again I've managed to piss someone off in 76. Except this time it was a guy leveled in the 600s throwing a baby tantrum. Once again, I was killing everything too fast, I was protecting the area too well so this guy took it upon himself to start blasting me in the face with explosives. Obviously, it didn't hurt me, he was simply trying to blind me from shooting. The thing is, you fucking idiot hack, you can't blind VATS. So... I can still keep shooting away with 100% accuracy... You're literally just putting on a pretty light show. And from a level 600 who isn't even that much lower level than me. If at level 600 you can't compete with me, leave the fucking server, and go find one with people on your considerably lower skill level. And this dude was a fucking team leader. Nah, if you act like an adult baby, you shouldn't be leader of anything. I understand that I'm being a little more aggressive with the kills lately, I'm 795 now, I'm so close to 800. And it's like... sorry I'm so overpowered, but do you just want me to sit here, and not play? Just so you, little baby, can get your kills? Fuck you. I'm not gonna apologize for playing a game the way they made it. Once again, Bethesda, fix your shit, your higher levels need more challenge, we're eating each other alive because there aren't enough enemies to go around. I shouldn't have to hold back to give anyone else a chance.

I do feel kinda bad for her xD Because there's a stash box at the Moonshine arena, it's just up against the main building so it's not really noticeable. And I'm not sure which train station she walked to... because there's one right up the hill from the arena. So she must've gone to a different one. I'll probably pop in, and check on her at some point. I don't usually go out of my way to interact with people, I'm more if you wanna play with me come play with me, but she is pretty low level. We tend to forget what it's like playing before the mutations, the perks, and the god-tier equipment. I gave her a Fixer, but she'd be better off being able to build, and mod her own weapons. It's also a low level mistake not making your own ammo, especially if you're going to use a Fixer, that bitch eats ammo. The Fixer originally isn't an automatic, it kinda starts out more like a sniper rifle because it gets bonus damage for stealth kills. But it's a beast if you mod it into automatic so that's what I personally recommend, and then of course you need to get the right legendaries on it. There's so much more I could tell her, but I also feel like it's good for people to figure these things out by themselves. She said she came over from Fallout 4 so she's not completely clueless. A lot of people come into 76 with zero Fallout experience, a lot of people came in just from the TV show, and I know those are the people that Bethesda kinda babies, but... I feel like the helpful population outweighs the harmful. Like any post-apocalyptic situation, there are people who will help you, and people who will kill you on sight. You're more likely, in my vast experience, to run into people who will help you. People like me who, we're not gonna completely hand the game to you, but we'll give you some equipment, and some advice, and we'll even team-up with you if you want it, show you the ropes. And Bethesda kinda takes away from that by constantly making the game easier. Trust your players. We got each other. I don't know why they're getting this impression that the game is impossible starting out. It's like any Fallout game, you start low, but eventually you're basically a god. And then everyone hates you xD

I just seem to make enemies wherever I go lately in 76 xD It's either lower levels mad that I'm killing things too fast, or higher levels mad that I'm killing things too fast. Sorry you ALL suck. It's funny with the highers... I've come across this level 1000+ guy a couple times, and he takes it upon himself, when he sees me, to whip out the grenade launcher in an attempt to vaporize everything before I cam get any shots in. Except the grenade launcher is fucking slow, and even at level 1000+ he does less than a half a healthbar of damage with it. So... doesn't stop me from killing anything. I hate spawn campers, and I hate being one, but ya know... when there are 15 people crammed into an event, and someone starts launching mininukes, yeahhhh, I'm just gonna go sit where everything spawns cause fuck that mininuke motherfucker. People can hate on me for being OP all they want, at least I don't do that shit, I don't try my hardest to blow everything up before anyone else can tag it. If Bethesda would stop fucking around desperately trying to make the game easier, we wouldn't have these problems. They genuinely should trust their player base more... We'll take care of the newbies, we'll help them. I mean, I've never asked anyone for help, but I've also played multiple other Fallout games. It is my first MMO though. I do find myself drawn to playing by myself lately just for efficiency sake. Like I've said, I'm trying to hit 800, and often times when I team up with people I find myself drawn into whatever bullshit they need help with xD Which is fine, I'm happy to help, but to really power level I need the freedom to server hop to find the best events that will deliver the most XP. And then people get mad when you start events early. Like dude, I'm not waiting around 6 minutes while you fuck around getting to the event. You got the notification, get your ass there. If it's already started when you get there, your fault for taking too long. I dunno, maybe I've just entered my villain Era on 76 xD I've become too powerful, and now everyone is trying to stop me💀

A Fallout 76 first for me... I met another girl xD I know that there are other female players out there, I know they exist, but the male population vastly outweighs the female, and today is the first time another female actually spoke to me, and befriended me. It doesn't help that a lot of guys play female characters, you may not even know until the deep, husky voice comes through your headset, and it's like, oh... that's a dude xD But she came up into my camp, and was complimenting everything, and told me how grateful she was that I leave out free ammo in my vending machine for anyone to take because she'd just spent all hers fighting a scorchbeast. And she's only level 38, basically a Fallout infant. So I tell her that if she wants the best automatic in game, find a Fixer. And then I told her where to find the plans for the Fixer. And then I just made her one xD I didn't mod it, I left that up to her, but ya know, why not? She had said she hadn't been to any events yet so I encouraged her to go because it'll really help level you up even if you hang back. See, I say I have animosity towards lower levels, but the truth is I'll still do anything to help them when they show up in my camp. I'll give you a gun, and a firm slap in the ass, go get 'em~
Theb these two guys wandered in a bit later, and they were higher levels, 600s, and they were thanking me for the good work I was doing helping other players out. But as they were walking away I could still hear them talking to each other...

And then. We had... the incident. I guess I'm just feeling myself lately, I'm feeling like extra OP maybe. Because apparently I've become one of those players who pisses other players off by killing things too fast. I was in an event, and I was perched up high which usually I'm down in the trenches face-tanking motherfuckers, but I decides to get up high for once. And I was really banging them out. Bam, bam, bam, everything dying. So this level 300 dumbass in power armor starts angry emoting, having a bitchfit because I guess he's just not getting any kills. So he very slowly clamors his way up to my spot, and stands in front of me. You can't outgun me, you can't kill me, you can't stop me so you're going to throw a baby tantrum in front of me, and try to block me? Ok. I'll shoot around you, big boy, no big deal. The only thing he accomplished was further taking kills away from himself, and making himself look really stupid which is probably the norm. Look, I don't like being that person, the one who takes every kill. But I'm level 793. I will back off a lot once I'm up to 800. Probably. But ya know, if my presence is so bothersome to you, leave the server, problem solved. Sorry you suck, be better. The expectation that if you're OP you should hold yourself back... I'm kinda over it. And I do hold myself back with lower levels, but if you're in the 300s, fend for yourself you little bitch~

But for whatever reason, plasma instantly kills me... at almost level 800. I'm pretty sure plasma counts as an energy damage type. Lasers don't instakill me. I don't get it.

I got into a real pissing contest with some bitch during an event. Mutation Invasion really brings out the douche in people.... myself included. Because I show up early, I pick my spot, and it never fails that someone comes along, and tries to kill-steal. So I was hood, taking down a ghoul army by myself when someone level 600 with the cutest little explosive minigun tries to edge me out of my spot... So I moved up in front of her. And she moved in front of me. And it went on like this until she was standing on the spawn area with a flamer, desperate to kill anything before I could because she simply could not out-shoot me with a literal minigun, you can't out-shoot my Fenrir. Except, ya know... stuff ain't gonna spawn if your dumbass is standing on top of the spawn point. So she fucked off. I expect that kinda shit from the lowers, but at 600 you should know your fucking place. I have this happen with a lot of higher levels. High level doesn't equate to high skill. Like yeah, she was using an explosive minigun, but it wasn't doing nearly the damage my gun does. That's a bad build. You can have the best, most powerful weapon in the game, but it doesn't do shit if your build doesn't compliment it. Finding the right gun is a lot like finding the right partner. It doesn't matter how much someone might make you explode in your pants, if they don't explode your heart. Life lessons~

I fucking swear... no one at Bethesda actually plays their own games. Nuking someone's base who has pissed you off us hardly "misusing the nuke mechanic." I think it's perfectly fair. Because the thing is, if you're outside of the safe zone, and someone targets your camp, you simply have to pack it up, and move OR leave the server, and the new server you pop into will be clear of that. Magical how simply game mechanics work on your own fucking game. Maybe think about that instead of, once again, remolding the entire game to suit new players. Like honestly, all this new player bullshit hand-holding is making me feel extremely hostile towards new players xD Is making me want to go full Raider dark side, and mercilessly kill them every chance I get. It's just ridiculous what they're doing, how far they're willing to handicap their own game for... I dunno, are all these new players just enormous idiots? Fallout is about SURVIVING. Why are you playing it expecting it to be easy? When I first played 76 I certainly didn't book it straight outta the vault into Cranberry Bog on the other side of the fucking map. If I wander into an area of a game that is too difficult for me, I go back, level up, like why are people making it sound so impossible? My hostility towards new players is evident lately xD Because I just give no fucks anymore. If you're in my way, I just shoot you, I do not care. I no longer hold back like I used to in events, I kill absolutely everything I can with no regard for anyone around me. And it annoys people, but ya know, get better, stop sucking, change servers, whatever~
And for the record, I've never has my camp nuked. People who typically get their camps nuked are rarely new players, they're usually higher level assholes who pissed someone off. I don't know why Bethesda has it in their brain that new players are constantly targeted for antagonism, most long-term players will do ANYTHING to help a new player, or anyone in general, they don't need to keep kneecapping their fucking game. I met a level 900 recently who started talking to me on mic, and he told me to go through his stuff, and if there was anything I wanted, he'd give it to me, no charge. Of course, no Red Asylum Uniform, but that's generally the kinda person you run into on 76. At least on Playstation anyway, maybe Xbox is just fucked, honestly wouldn't surprise me🤔

The fact that they changed the scoreboard into this generic garbage, and are taking away the randomness of legendaries... it's like they're trying to take anything unique about the game, and destroy it. Let's just take a stake to it's heart, and turn 76 into Call of Duty. Is that what you fucking want, Bethesda? They can't even keep up with their own shit. The big new event they launched at the new season? Went down within a few days, and hasn't been reintegrated back in yet. You can't even fix one fucking thing you hacks. It was an awful event to begin with, but still, whoever makes the decisions for Fallout needs to be fired.

I don't like it. This is a horrible idea, and whoever decided to implement this should have their toes eaten off by angry piranhas. They just keep pushing for the game to be "more accessible" to new players, most of which don't stick around past level 25, but fuck your higher level, longterm players. Not only have they nerfed EVERYTHING into oblivion, they constantly pull back on events, and the newer events that they do add can easily be soloed. I remember when fire or laser turrets or assaultrons killed you pretty much instantly, you had to actually plan on how to take these things down. And now... any level ten can handle an assaultron. That shouldn't be the case. The struggle makes you a better gamer. Stop catering to the weak, whiny bitches. Because it just destroys any sense of satisfaction you get from actually progressing your character. I can't describe how good it felt when I first started to get powerful, when I began racking up mutations, figuring out my perfect build, and most importantly finding my holy grail weapon, my Fenrir. See, Legendary equipment has an element of randomness to it... You find it, and it'll have up to three random legendary perks on it like Quad Ammo or Explosive Bullets or Cloaking. You can trade in any legendary equipment for scrip, use the scrip to buy legendary modules, craft more legendary equipment with random legendary perks until you get exactly what you want. So what they're saying is... it's no longer going to be random. So all that tingly feeling you used to get from months of trying to craft the PERFECT weapon, all the randomness and luck and trying that used to go into it, nah, just toss that out. So now any level 50+ can just have the same gun that I have without even trying. They can just have it because why should you have to work or try for anything? What's the fun of playing a game that makes you actually play it?
Bethesda. Please kindly remove your head from your own ass. You're taking all the joy out of Fallout, and it's pissing me off. It's post-apocalyptic, you're surviving, IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE DIFFICULT.

I'm standing at Radiation Rumble, waiting to see if anyone will show up for the event. So far, it's just this bitch. I'm not overly thrilled about a two person team on RR, but I was also annoyed at an earlier RR wherein I was in the same position, except about ten douchebags in fucking Power Armor were standing at the opening. So basically a wall of these jackasses completely blocking me from getting any shots in, and I'm watching the event timer, and I notice that we're going to fail this event because despite the wall, not a single one of these idiots has gone down into the tunnels to get the ore we need to successfully win the event. Because they're all too worried about getting their shots in on a handful of ghouls. So I sit back, and laughing, watch as the event fails. I could've saved it, but I wasn't going to help those selfish assholes, one of which was a level 800... Like, get your ass in the tunnel, what the fuck are you doing?
So yeah, I was already annoyed xD And bitch... In all the arena, which is pretty large, she chooses to come stand right next to me. There's so much room, there's an entire other half to guard, fuck offfff. And then as soon as I move to start the event, I turn around, and watch her slide directly into where I was standing. You keeping it warm for me? Fuck off. It just blows my mind how you can have a mile radius to protect, and the one other person in the event, the single other body there decides they need your spot. They could literally stand anywhere else, nope, they gotta be where you wanna be. I don't understand. If I walk into am event, and someone is standing somewhere, I stand somewhere else xD That's just like logical common sense. I dunno, the more I play with people online, the more I think too many dumb people are breeding.

I would say most people get bored of 76 around level 200. I dunno, it never really gets boring to me. I'm picky about the games I like so it's a good thing to play while waiting for other games I want to play to come out. I'm still working on Elden Ring. I just... I've read that it's taking people hours to beat Radahn. It's like the Dancer from Dark Souls 3. I took a two week break after DS3 initially came out because I could not for anything get past the Dancer boss fight. And then after a break I came back, beat her first try. I think when you fight a boss multiple times you start to overthink everything, and die much easier. So we're going to go after Radahn again eventually, when I feel less scared xD Again, I don't understand the hostility like they know you're there to kilo Miquella. Why would you kill Miquella? The other demigods I can understand killing. Original Radahn is a fucking zombie monster, Rykard is a big fucking snake, Malenia is inhabited by a literal rot god, Morgott insults you, and Mohg is a pedophile/kidnapper. They all deserved to be hunted down. But Miquella? I was genuinely just concerned for his well-being, and I don't appreciate the game forcing the whole wanting to kill him narrative onto me.
I also finally ended up blocking Anthony. I don't like to be a cruel person... but I am a person who, unless I REALLY like you, needs space. Basically, unless you're Wolfie, I don't need to hear from you every day, and Wolfie is gone so. Messaging me ten times a day, "Hey. Tried to call. You busy? Wanna talk? Can you get on mic? I'll switch games. I'll come to you. Why aren't you answering? Did you switch servers? Ha, I'm trying to catch you. Calling again." And this is all after I've told him I'll be playing alone for the day. Like... I enjoy mutual obsession. This ain't mutual. And no matter how many times I've politely brushed him off, and straight up told him I'm not interested, he clings onto me. Like he kept telling me I didn't even know what he looked like so how did I know I wasn't interested in him... Honey, you could be goddamn Bruce Wayne, and I wouldn't want any of you, no means no, motherfucker. I have respect for taking a chance, and shooting your shot. Like I needed help... He pulled out an explosive railway rifle, and I just laughed. Fucking railway rifle is nothing compared to my Fenrir, no matter how high you are~

Everyone wants quad + explosive, which is totally fine if you're going to keep a lot of distance between you and whoever you're shooting. That's how explosive works, the bullets explode on impact. So if you're standing right next to something, shooting it, those bullets are also exploding onto you, and killing you. I have died like this xD It's overrated. The railway rifle in general is overrated, it takes way too much slow reloading, and uses way too much AP for the damage it does. And it makes fucking train noises which piss me off for some reason xD I want my gun to sound like a gun, damn it.
Everyone in my gaming group tells me there's no way I'll make level 1000 by December, my two year 76 anniversary. I have determination. Some of these guys were much lower level when we met, now they're a lot higher... Ya'll don't have lives OR girlfriends xD

It's a low XP event taking away from any other event, I'd literally rather do any other one, Tea Time included xD Because at least in Tea Time I can gun down many enemies. Fasnacht Day you're fighting 20 people over killing like three frogs. And even that they've nerfed. There used to be three waves of frogs. Now only a couple hop out, and it's done. Whhhhy😵‍💫

The Monumentals are outside of Miquella's area too. So let's say, for a fact, Elden Ring connects to Demon's Souls... how? And why? What do the Monumentals even do? They preserve the fabric of reality, and want the Old One lulled back to sleep. Who is the Old One? Basically... a big snake demon who is the source of all demons. And snakes also seem VERY antagonistic in Elden Ring. Are Omens actually demons? Could Messmer be considered a demon? Or Rykard? Rykard was majorly outcast because he blasphemed against the Greater Will by feeding himself to a big-ass snake. A big-ass snake that can't truly be killed, it regenerates over time, and anyone it consumes becomes a part of it. Like the Old One...
That doesn't explain why there are Monumentals outside of Miquella's main area. But I like where it sends my brain, I think we're onto something🤔

The end of the Elden Ring DLC still just doesn't sit right with me... Miquella, as a child, admired Radahn so much so that he decided he'd marry him someday? His own brother? I mean, look, we're basically talking about a pantheon of gods here, and in any group of gods you get those incestuous vibes. It's also possible that Miquella didn't know Radahn was his brother. Marika is kind of a hoe. What bothers me most is the fact that Malenia l, and Radahn have an outstandingly bad relationship, literally fighting to the death to the point where Malenia drops a scarlet rot nuke on his ass. And Miquella and Malenia, from the lore, are tight as fuck. And we're supposed to believe, despite what we've seen through the entire base game, that Miquella would choose Radahn instead? I just don't buy it. It makes no sense. It would make more sense to me if it were Godwyn. Miquella wanting to bring back Godwyn after he was brutally murdered... yeah, I could get behind that. But Radahn? It's just... confusing.
I think Messmer is my favorite character in the DLC.

I don't really understand why Messmer even attacks you. His whole thing us going after anyone who has lost the "guidance of grace." Pretty sure you still have that so... why are we fighting again? It's like with Malenia. Malenia has no real reason to attack you. I just assume the Scarlet Rot has fucked her brain. But logically from a story point of view, you don't go at her aggressive or anything, she just gets up and immediately tries to kill you for no good reason.

That Radahn... I don't wanna go back in there xD He's the only boss that I've really stopped, and thought, but what if I can't beat him? I've only tried a couple times, but... yikes. I was talking to a friend about it last night because he had just gotten the DLC, and he was having trouble with Rellana. So I told him that most of the bosses are very easily killed with bleed.
"Well not everyone is an arcane bleed build."
True. But you can be. Because via Rennala, you can completely restat your character into a build for a certain fight then change back later. And it's not something I highly recommend or have respect for doing. If you commit to a build, you should be able to utilize it against any boss successfully. If you're good anyway. But if you absolutely can't get past something, I can understand changing your character into whatever will help you get past it. I wouldn't necessarily say the DLC bosses are difficult, aside from Radahn who I just haven't figured out yet, but to the average player... I was reading an article earlier by a guy who said he had to fight Messmer almost 150 times. Why... That's an insane amount of attempts for anyone unless you're a super low level or completely soloing it. Like my friend last night was telling me he doesn't use Spirit Summons because in Dark Souls you don't get Spirit Summons. This isn't Dark Souls, dumbass xD You're completely ignoring a valuable in-game tool, for what? But you'll summon in other players? Are you fucking stupid xD I listened to him for, I dunno, 20-30 minutes trying to kill the first boss. USE YOUR SUMMONS. This is why I can't play Elden Ring with other people, I swear everyone else plays it so stupidly, it's no wonder it takes you 150 tries to kill an easy boss💀
I kind of resent the way the game treats you towards the end though. The way it assumes you're trying to find Miquella to kill him... I was genuinely worried for him with zero desire to kill him. He was one of the very few sympathetic, genuinely good-hearted characters in the game. Or so I thought. The fact that everyone turns on you suddenly because you're trying to get close to him. I never wanted to kill him. Or you. Assholes.
