**For your health**

Some of you may already know these things but I felt it would be nice to bring the info here in one place regarding everyones health.

Has your doctor (or mom) ever told you to stay away from chocolate, red wine, tea and coffee? Well in excess they're right, however in moderation they may just save your life.

Modern research shows that not all tasty and sugary things are bad.

A daily 16oz coffee drink (caffeinated or decaf) has been shown to lower your risk of Parkinsons by up-to 50%, skin cancer by 5% and reduces your risk of colon, breast and prostate cancers also.

2-5 cups of green or chamomile tea each day decreases your risk for heart disease, Alzheimer's, autoimmune diseases, lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and increases the production EGCg an enzyme that prevents/slows cancer cells from growing.

1/2 a bar per week of dark chacolate (70% + cocoa) can lower your risk of cancer, cataracts, stress and it's complications it also helps your memory.

1 glass of red wine each night (not hard liquors or beer) helps decrease the potential for developing cancer, heart disease, lowers stress and it's complications. Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah/Sirah and Pinot Noir are the best types.

The active medicinal parts of these foods are called antioxidants. If you already have these conditions I would suggest having a consultation with your doctor before engaging in "indulgent health care." Alcohol may decrease the effectiveness of certain medications and can cause liver failure if you are taking products with acetaminophen (Tylenol) in them.

While these products can be very beneficial to your health and increase your lifespan they must be taken in moderation. Eating/drinking to much of these foods can cause other illnesses including migraines, complications due to underlying diabetes, high blood pressure and increase risk of bleeding due to aspirin use or other "blood thinners."

Theft, no matter how large or small, conscious or subconscious is a malicious and inexcusable behaviour.

There are very few things I can't wrap my head around and find some way to "reason it away" but outright theft is one of those things.

From stealing a simple picture you found online to boosting products from a store shelf, how could you allow yourself to do that? It is fully unjustifiable.

Besides, the government hates competition.

Stupid global economy! My bullion supplier (one of the largest in the world) is out of all platinum, most silver and is on a higher fee schedule for gold.

Stop acting like the world is ending and let the markets work themselves out. Keep your money in your 401(k) and tell the government to stop pushing cash paper, thats how depressions start and last longer not to mention the explosion of inflationary devaluation.

*Public Service Announcement*

One of the larger contributing factors to the amount of neuropathy that I have is pernicious anemia...I lack the natural ability to absorb vitamin B-12 which is critical in the regeneration and health of nerve cells, white blood cells and many other bodily functions.

A lot of people have forms of B-12 deficiency. Some of the symptoms include fatigue, numbness, depression, forgetfulness and even fever.

The natural response is "get a B-12 shot" this is something that I both don't want to do and also haven't the time for each month.

Since my body cannot absorb it through the GI tract I can't take an oral pill. I can however take sublingual tabs (under the tongue) which goes directly into the blood stream.

Heres where it gets tricky.

Most supplements use a form of B-12 called cyanocobalamine however the cyano- form cannot directly help the central nervous system. Methylcobalamine on the other hand is what the CNS directly uses.

It is important to make sure you take 500mcg or more (8,333% DV) cyano- via the subligual rout to be effective in being converted to enough methlycobalamine.

As always consult your doctor before beginning any supplement regiment and only a blood test can diagnose a B-12 deficiency.

Magnetic Induction Technology

07:13 Oct 13 2008
Times Read: 1,038

Thanks to our friends Michael Faraday, Joseph Henry and the recent research by MIT (university) we now have a working model for a brand new technology called Magnetic Induction. This technology promises to charge your cell phone, operate your computer and just about any electronic device without the use of wires or multiple chargers.

MI is created by the manipulation of Faraday's Law of Induction which is something like this:

When you induce a magnetic field which resonates with an object (generally in the 10MHz range) you can bestow an energy charge to the item allowing it to function as if it had a regular battery or was plugged into the wall.

This can occur by using the principles of a transformer EMF which basically means altering the field directly.

MI has similar properties and functions of a transformer:

Although the basics of this technology goes back over a hundred years and may appear simple in concept its application is very difficult. It's rather easy to mis-calibrate and ruin both the field and object as well as overcoming EMF leaks and flux.

A clear distinction should be made between "magnetizing" an object such as steel or water and causing work induction.

Due to further research and legal matters in regards to new technologic patents this as about as far into it as I can currently go. Please continue to check back here for further updates.

But what will this do to the harmonics of the body and mind? as we are in true essence electrically charged and powered beings.

So much of what we dabble with in this dimension we have little or no understanding, it is very much a "trial and error" based learning curve here.

I see in our future a great multitude of these "fantastic" technologies coming full circle to bite us in the butt.

Take modern refrigeration for example, with it's creation came higher incidents of Cancer among other things, primarily due to the fact that we no longer had to be moderate, we could keep on hand more of the abusive foods that our ancestors ate sparingly.

Or how about the creation through science of our corporately cost effective and economical "high fructose sweeteners"?

I have a 1905 candy manufacturing guide, and in it, it states very clearly that in the future we will see a great increase in the rates of diabetes within the population due to it's use. Amazing.

Now, in the present, people had better start learning to use their cell phones properly, or we might just wind up with the highest incidence of brain cancer etc in the world. Just think, we are paying $80.00+ a month for a phone bill that comes with the included potentiality of inducing Brain Cancer in genetically susceptible individuals. (the Human Genetic Orchids)

Is it really worth it?

Science can be such a Damocles sword eh?

You are always such an interesting and thought provoking read Xzavier.

Bailout round 2

Voting for this monster of a bill is going to happen in a few hours.

I can't stress the dangers of this thing if it passes.

The problem was cause by people on the inside pushing for sub-prime loans and engaging in predatory lending practices.

So now we have millions of people in debt with car loans and mortgages about to be "called."

Legally the banks are in fault but it's the janitor with a new car who deserves to have it repo'd.

There is no cure for stupidity.

People say "look what happened on Wall Street, we lost $1 trillion in assets in one day!"

Well we gained half of it back the next day.

Markets rise and fall. You take risks and they don't always payoff.

Look we have some rough times ahead but the government can't get involved. Fannie & Freddie were government projects, look what happened to them. This bailout and the other actions taken by Congress are the same types of things the government did during the depression which prolonged that ordeal years.

Not everyone deserves a new car or 3 bedroom house. You only deserve what you can afford. "If you can't buy it in cash you shouldn't buy it" in the words of Dave Ramsey.

If this bailout goes through we are going to fall flat on our faces. In one day nearly $1 trillion in new debt. Your kids and your grandchildren and their children will literally be left the bill.

Watch and see, if this thing passes we're all fucked. Thats not fear mongering thats mathematics.

Oh and if you think Obama is going to save us all remember this. His campaign finance chairwoman, Penny Pritzker (who's 130ish richest person on earth) was responsible for small folks loosing $10 million in cash when she was the head of Superior Bank. She forced sub-prime the bottom fell out and people lost $10 mill.

for once i agree with you , this is a bad idea all the way, freddy and fannie taking high risks with the comfort of a bailout should not be our resposability as tax payers, however by doing nothing we face a deppression at best....its not a cure its a bandaid on a very open and oozing wound in our economy....but as you know americans are not getting as pissed about this as they should be....that is why the very minimum will be done to stop this from happening all over again...my advice is to keep your money in gold , the only form of currency actually worth anything.

WHAT exactly does a "community organizer" do? Barack Obama's rise has left

many Americans asking themselves that question. Here's a big part of the

answer: Community organizers intimidate banks into making high-risk loans

to customers with poor credit.

In the name of fairness to minorities, community organizers occupy private

offices, chant inside bank lobbies, and confront executives at their homes

- and thereby force financial institutions to direct hundreds of millions

of dollars in mortgages to low-credit customers.

In other words, community organizers help to undermine the US economy by

pushing the banking system into a sinkhole of bad loans. And Obama has

spent years training and funding the organizers who do it. (and while

doing so inflate the value of the same properties to make affordable

housing unaffordable)

THE seeds of today's financial meltdown lie in the Community Reinvestment

Act - a law passed in 1977 and made riskier by unwise amendments and

regulatory rulings in later decades.

CRA was meant to encourage banks to make loans to high-risk borrowers,

often minorities living in unstable neighborhoods. That has provided an

opening to radical groups like ACORN (the Association of Community

Organizations for Reform Now) to abuse the law by forcing banks to make

hundreds of millions of dollars in "subprime" loans to often

un-credit-worthy poor and minority customers. (Eventually Fannie and

Freddie adjusted their underwriting requirements to facilitate selling of

these bad loans into the secondary market giving the banks and ACORN a

dumping ground for these unprofitable loans.)

Any bank that wants to expand or merge with another has to show it has

complied with CRA - and approval can be held up by complaints filed by

groups like ACORN.

In fact, intimidation tactics, public charges of racism and threats to use

CRA to block business expansion have enabled ACORN to extract hundreds of

millions of dollars in loans and contributions from America's financial

institutions. (Still further ACORN was provided a pool of funds similar to

a "warehouse line of credit" so that they could arrange subprime loans

under the guise of "affordable home lending". The same kinds of loans

that are now labeled as "PREDITORY")

Banks already overexposed by these shaky loans were pushed still further

in the wrong direction when government-sponsored Fannie Mae and Freddie

Mac began buying up their bad loans and offering them for sale on world

markets.

Fannie and Freddie acted in response to Clinton administration pressure to

boost homeownership rates among minorities and the poor. However

compassionate the motive, the result of this systematic disregard for

normal credit standards has been financial disaster.

ONE key pioneer of ACORN's subprime-loan shakedown racket was Madeline

Talbott - an activist with extensive ties to Barack Obama. She was also in

on the ground floor of the disastrous turn in Fannie Mae's mortgage

policies.

Long the director of Chicago ACORN, Talbott is a specialist in "direct

action" - organizers' term for their militant tactics of intimidation and

disruption. Perhaps her most famous stunt was leading a group of ACORN

protesters breaking into a meeting of the Chicago City Council to push for

a "living wage" law, shouting in defiance as she was arrested for mob

action and disorderly conduct. But her real legacy may be her drive to

push banks into making risky mortgage loans.

In February 1990, Illinois regulators held what was believed to be the

first-ever state hearing to consider blocking a thrift merger for lack of

compliance with CRA. The challenge was filed by ACORN, led by Talbott.

Officials of Bell Federal Savings and Loan Association, her target,

complained that ACORN pressure was undermining its ability to meet strict

financial requirements it was obligated to uphold and protested being

boxed into an "affirmative-action lending policy." The following years saw

Talbott featured in dozens of news stories about pressuring banks into

higher-risk minority loans.

IN April 1992, Talbott filed an other precedent-setting com plaint using

the "community support requirements" of the 1989 savings-and-loan bailout,

this time against Avondale Federal Bank for Savings. Within a month,

Chicago ACORN had organized its first "bank fair" at Malcolm X College and

found 16 Chicago-area financial institutions willing to participate.

Two months later, aided by ACORN organizer Sandra Maxwell, Talbott

announced plans to conduct demonstrations in the lobbies of area banks

that refused to attend an ACORN-sponsored national bank "summit" in New

York. She insisted that banks show a commitment to minority lending by

lowering their standards on down payments and underwriting - for example,

by overlooking bad credit histories.

By September 1992, The Chicago Tribune was describing Talbott's program as

"affirma- tive-action lending" and ACORN was issuing fact sheets bragging

about relaxations of credit standards that it had won on behalf of

minorities.

And Talbott continued her effort to, as she put it, drag banks "kicking

and screaming" into high-risk loans. A September 1993 story in The Chicago

Sun-Times presents her as the leader of an initiative in which five area

financial institutions (including two of her former targets, now plainly

cowed - Bell Federal Savings and Avondale Federal Savings) were

"participating in a $55 million national pilot program with

affordable-housing group ACORN to make mortgages for low- and

moderate-income people with troubled credit histories."

What made this program different from others, the paper added, was the

participation of Fannie Mae - which had agreed to buy up the loans. "If

this pilot program works," crowed Talbott, "it will send a message to the

lending community that it's OK to make these kind of loans."

Well, the pilot program "worked," and Fannie Mae's message that risky

loans to minorities were "OK" was sent. The rest is financial-meltdown

history.

IT would be tough to find an "on the ground" community organizer more

closely tied to the subprime-mortgage fiasco than Madeline Talbott. And no

one has been more supportive of Madeline Talbott than Barack Obama.

When Obama was just a budding community organizer in Chicago, Talbott was

so impressed that she asked him to train her personal staff.

He returned to Chicago in the early '90s, just as Talbott was starting her

pressure campaign on local banks. Chicago ACORN sought out Obama's legal

services for a "motor voter" case and partnered with him on his 1992

"Project VOTE" registration drive.

In those years, he also conducted leadership-training seminars for ACORN's

up-and-coming organizers. That is, Obama was training the army of ACORN

organizers who participated in Madeline Talbott's drive against Chicago's

banks.

More than that, Obama was funding them. As he rose to a leadership role at

Chicago's Woods Fund, he became the most powerful voice on the

foundation's board for supporting ACORN and other community organizers. In

1995, the Woods Fund substantially expanded its funding of community

organizers - and Obama chaired the committee that urged and managed the

shift. (This is the same "Woods Fund" board of directors that terrorist

William Ayers served.)

That committee's report on strategies for funding groups like ACORN

features all the key names in Obama's organizer network. The report quotes

Talbott more than any other figure; Sandra Maxwell, Talbott's ACORN ally

in the bank battle, was also among the organizers consulted.

MORE, the Obama-supervised Woods Fund report acknowledges the problem of

getting donors and foundations to contribute to radical groups like ACORN

- whose confrontational tactics often scare off even liberal donors and

foundations.

Indeed, the report brags about pulling the wool over the public's eye. The

Woods Fund's claim to be "nonideological," it says, has "enabled the

Trustees to make grants to organizations that use confrontational tactics

against the business and government 'establishments' without undue risk of

being criticized for partisanship."

Hmm. Radicalism disguised by a claim to be postideological. Sound familiar?

The Woods Fund report makes it clear Obama was fully aware of the

intimidation tactics used by ACORN's Madeline Talbott in her pioneering

efforts to force banks to suspend their usual credit standards. Yet he

supported Talbott in every conceivable way. He trained her personal staff

and other aspiring ACORN leaders, he consulted with her extensively, and

he arranged a major boost in foundation funding for her efforts.

And, as the leader of another charity, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge,

Obama channeled more funding Talbott's way - ostensibly for education

projects but surely supportive of ACORN's overall efforts.

In return, Talbott proudly announced her support of Obama's first campaign

for state Senate, saying, "We accept and respect him as a kindred spirit,

a fellow organizer."

IN short, to understand the roots of the subprime-mort gage crisis, look

to ACORN's Madeline Talbott. And to see how Talbott was able to work her

mischief, look to Barack Obama.

Then you'll truly know what community organizers do.
