Such Bullshit!

Okay, I know I haven't written anything in here in quite awhile but this something that I need some advice on (preferably legal advice).
So here goes.
My grandfather passed away back in January of this year. My grandmother is still alive. My grandfather never had a will drawn up before he died so with that being said and since my grandmother is still alive, technically she gets everything since she was the spouse. Now, here comes the fucked up part.
My mom, and before I continue I'm going to say that she is one of the most selfish and most conceited people I have ever met. She treated my grandfather absolutely HORRIBLE, yet had the nerve to show up at his funeral and give some bullshit speech in front of everyone about how she would "visit weekly" when really she was only there to just pick up her disability check. Whatever disability she had is beyond me since she's a compulsive liar, and how she will always be "his little girl" . Yeah right. Anyway I digress.
After the funeral, my mom had the nerve to say that everything including the house goes to her according to my grandfather (but keep in mind that this is all word of mouth and so to put it lightly my mom is full of shit once again). My grandmother told me that that was not true (big surprise there *notice how that statement was dripping with sarcasm*) So ever since then an attorney has gotten involved and so my mom was told she is not to touch anything until the attorney makes the decisions. And so my mom keeps insisting and pushing the fact that everything is hers and went to the attorney the other day ( which I don't think she's allowed to do since its my grandmother's attorney and not hers) and said that she should have a key for the house, the code for the security system. First of all the security system was put in place specifically because of my mom and her bullshit so no she should not get the code for the security system.
And since I'm over 5,000 miles away I feel powerless. I would like to know what legalities I can do on my end to help my grandmother from being fucked over and be pressured by my psycho of a mother. I had thought about getting a restraining order but wasn't sure if I could do it from where I'm at and was told that it would have to be up to my grandmother but that's just it, my grandmother is too afraid of my mom at this point. She's 76 years old she doesn't need this bullshit on top of just burying her husband not even 3 months ago. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe if you can prove your grandmother is in a fragile non thinking way of life you can have her legally accept you as a guardian over her and her affairs. Talk to your grandmothers lawyer soon.
*hugs*
