This Poem was written my ex-girlfriend, Mother of my 2 adopted children and 1 of my best friends.





It rains on the outside,

And it rains on the inside,



The Difference is the outside stops raining,

The rain on the inside will never stop,



The pain I've caused you,

And the pain I've caused myself,



Why won't the rain go away,

I cant take this pain nomore

Those two little beings,

You brought into my life,



I look into their eyes,

And see innocence shines,



I love then more then me,

Then every fiber of my being,



So why did you take them?

Take them so very far away from me?



Now we barely talk at all,

And I see them so sparingly,



So please just read this,

And know what they mean to me....

I hate what you put me through,

All the lies about me and you,



I love it that I fell for you,

Because of all the pain you put me through,



I deserve all these heartaches,

Because of the past love I lost,



I hurt her wearing all those masks,

And now I shall hurt because of my past.

How can I be happy being with you,

But also be happy when you are with him?



Why am I Not letting you go,

But giving in-to you and him?



I know you are happy when with him,

And I hate both you and him for that,



I loved you with every fiber of my being,

And you tore a hole through my heart running to him....



But yet what is this feeling I still get?

Is it love that is yet still left for you?



When your around me the hole fills,

But when your gone my pain oozes out.

You have no self esteem,

You look down upon yourself,



You think you deserve nothing,

Because of the past and that,



Even when someone looks at you,

And tells your your amazing,



You don't believe it to be true,

You just turn and walk away,



You need to let the past go,

Leave it behind you and move on,



Because your more then you think,

So just listen to me for once and believe,



Finally believe me when I say for the last time,

That I think you're BEAUTIFUL

Why do so many people do it,

Say it, Think it, Actually go through with it?



What is it thats so bad?

That makes you want to end your life?



Is it really the problems you deal with?

Or is it just something you say to cope?



People give there lives up everyday,

But not for the reasons you believe,



They give there lives for us to be free,

And u throw it away because you had a bad day,



Seriously this topic is not meant to be funny,

This is not some joke to be played,



Its something that has no true meaning,

Except your to coward to fix yourself and be free



So next time you say you want to die,

Remember these few written words,



And remember if you choose this path,

You'll never be free.....

What is love really?

It's something i'd like to know,



Some say it's just a word,

Used to make people hurt,



If Love is just a word,

then tell me how can it hurt?



If Love was just a word,

Then what is the meaning?



You have no answer do you?

Because love is more then a word,



Love is an emotion,

one of the most powerful,



It's something that can cause great pain,

Or even the greatest happiness,



But Everyone uses the word ,

without regard for its meaning,



Or the way it will effect anyone,

Even if they do know what love is,



They still don't care about the pain,

Because they don't Feel it,



They don't ache and deal with it,

They go on and are remotely happy,



So next time you say the word,

I want you to ask yourself this,



Do you know what love really is?

Do you really mean it?



If so then say it with joy,

And if not don't say it at all
