They unpacked the abscess the following monday and with in a week it was healed closed doesn't even look like there will be a noticeable scar. It's still raised up some so have been avoiding shaving.

Had to go to the E.R. last night and have an abscess on my neck lanced. To make matters worse all they will give to stop the pain is local anesthetic (in my case lidocaine) and the abscess tends to block most of it from actually doing any good. It was very difficult holding still while the doc was cutting but I had to no matter what. The abscess was right next to my carotid artery. So had I moved or jerked while he was cutting it could have been very bad. Hopefully now it will go away and heal.









As if that wasn't bad enough I get home and get online only to find out a friend of mine attempted suicide. Someone sent me a message through that person's account but didn't tell me their condition so now all i can do is worry and hope they'll be ok and get back online. :(
