The sun has come
The mists have gone
we see in the distance
Our long way home
I was always yours to have

Looked up at the blazing sun

Up from the forest floor

What do you do when your life falls apart
And the person you love has broken your heart
Where do you go when he's no longer there
When he was your life and you're left in despair
What does it mean when your not afraid to die
When all the consequences you now deny?
How do you go on and ever hurt less
When every second without, you're a complete mess
Yeah life gets hard, some things are tough,
But you don't give up every time it gets rough
You said you grew, that you were ready
To keep me and we'd stay steady
But you never learned, you let me go
How much that hurts you'll never know
The images you filled my head with
Were never more than a hurtful myth
As horrible as this may seem
I hope I haunt you in your dreams
Our memories create a haze
