The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

This is the official announcement that after 4 years of existence, The Coven of the Lycan Underworld (known by its members as LU) has disbanded.



I am confident there are some on here who are thrilled this Coven has closed. On the other hand, there are others on here who are beside themselves with extreme sadness.



Members who have been part of the Coven since the very first day it opened. Members who stood by their Coven Master through many trials and tribulations. Memories several members will carry with them forever.



Members of LU referred to their Coven Master as Papa Dan. He protected his Coven members like he would his own family. He referred to his members as family. There wasn't anything he would not do for them if they really wanted to be part of the Coven and showed an interest.



In my 6 years of being a member of Vampire Rave, I have never been involved with a society that operated the way LU was. Every member was active in the forums without ever having to be told to do so. Every member wanted to be there and they were happy there.



Of course there was drama, this is inescapable on VR. The Coven Master was always quick to respond and handle it in an appropriate way. Many people were given second and in some cases, third chances.



I could go on and on but I will close with the ONLY two Coven crests ever created for LU.







This is the very first crest made for LU. This very crest caused a huge controversy that lasted for over 4 months.

I am beyond sad to see this journal entry. I was a member of LU a few different times and loved it there each and every time. He gave me a home when I had none on VR multiple times. He is, was, and always will be one of the BEST Coven Masters VR has and will EVER have. Damn I hate to see that Coven disbanded. ~sighs~



Fucking VR bullshit drama. Grrrr.

My heart is breaking and as I read this I cry tears of sadness. LU was my first real coven and family. I had the honor of being there doing its birth and during the 4 years watched it grow into a large loving family.



I will always love you LU forever! You will be forever in my heart!

This is too bad. While I didn't have any connection to the coven, it is sad to see one go after having such a long run.
