"Please dont touch it, just leave." Connor said in a frantic tone as he backed into a corner, cluching a ruby pendant in his hand close to his chest.

"So your the boy everyone seems to fear, men grab him and get me that pendant." Kazu commanded as he stood in the door way of the small little room. Connor kicked the men that were closing in on him. But as he was kicking the largest one grabbed ahold of Connors leg and held him upside down.

"Let me down, I didnt do anything, please dont hurt me." Connor screamed. As the man reached for the pendant, Connor bite the man holding him. The man then busted Connor in the stomach and he dropped the pendant. Connor shouted for them not to let t hit the floor and just in that instant Kazu caught the pendant and in doing that squeezed it tightly causing Connor extreme pain in his chest.

"Ahhh, I now see why you were protecting this pendant, its your heart, isnt it." Kazu asked mischievously.

"What do you want with me?" Connor cried out. The man flipped Connor around and held him tightly. Connor struggled fiercly trying to get loose but couldnt. Then Kazu's phone rang and it happen to be Connors step father on the other end calling to see if they had found him yet.

"Yes, we found him and he's putting up quite a fight." Kazu answered.

"Im not going back, let me go now!" Connor screamed. then he kicked the man holding him in the face and ran towards a door. But then the other man pulled out a trankulizar gun and shot Connor in the back of the neck.

" Whats going on over there?" Connors step father asked. Connor started feeling dizzy as he slowly fell to his knees then collapsed on the floor fast asleep.

"Nothing sir, we'll be there soon." Then Kazu hung up and ordered the men to pick Connor up and place him in the truck outside.





"Kanna, you need to get back in your room." Lance said as he walked up to her and grabbed her arm.

"Where's my brother at, I demand to know what ya'll did with him?" Kanna said forcefully as she yanked away and leaned on the wall behind her.

"He escaped but this time he made it into the city, so your father has Kazu out looking for him, it wont be long before hes back." Lance said a he pointed in the direction of he room and told her to start walking.

"That man is not my father, my father is dead." Kanna snapped as she turns and walks towards her roon. Then she enters her room and slammed the door shut. She laid on her bed and started crying. They were always picking on her brother and she hated not being able to stop them.



An hour and a half past when Kazu finally arrived at the mansion/institute. Waiting at the front entrances was Connors two doctors Ally and Charles, 6 heavily armed military men, the scientist Harvey and finally at the top of the steps was Connors step father Zeke. So the two men in the back step out of the jeep and in the ones arms is Connor sound asleep. Kazu walked ahead of the two men over to Zeke and handed him the pendant. Suddenly the military men rounded Connor and secured shackles and a mask on him. As they got to Zeke with Connor Ally started examinig Connors body to see how much damage was caused, then Charles check his pulse and temperture. Harvey started writing down info on what he was observing as they rushed Connor into the building. Zeke stopped them for a split second and just shook his head in disappointment.

"Take him down to the lab and put restraints on him, I want you to start you evaluations and test but try to keep him sidated." Zeke ordered. The men rushed into he building leaving only Zeke and Kazu on the steps.

" So that pendant controls him doesnt it." Kazu asked as he faced Zeke.

" Dont worry about it, i want you to watch him and keep him under control, noone but who was just standing here is allowed near him am I clear." Zeke said. He then started for the door and told Kazu to follow.

Meanwhile down in the lab, Connor was being carried to a bed when he started having a horrible nightmare and suddenly woke up terrified. When he saw where he was and the people in the room he went crazy. The chains that were on him was starting to break skin in his attempt to break them off. Ally moved over to the men and Connor to try to calm him down but all it did was make the stress level increase and he blacked out. Attacking everything and everyone around him. He finally broke most of the restraints on him and ran into a cornor. Streaming with blood Connor screamed for everyone to leave him alone. But then he started getting severe chest pains and started crying. Zeke then enterd the room cluching the pendant tightly in his hand.

" Whats going on in here, Connor shut up." Zeke hollered in a tyrant. Then he ordered the men to get Connor out of the cornor and on a bed.

"Please dont touch me, it hurts so bad." Connor said in a small gasp of air. The men closed in on him and the first thing he scream was for is sister to help him. But she couldnt hear him and the men pulled him up and dragged him over to the bed.

"Enough, all of you get away from Connor, your not helping the situation by scaring the poor boy." Ally stood up and said. She rushed over to Connor and gentally had him lay back on the bed so that she could remove the chains that were choking him and causing him to bleed excessively. He was reluctant to comply to what she was trying to do but eventually did. So Zeke released the pressure on the pendant and just watched as Ally calmed Connor down.

"Connor your sister cant hear you so screaming like you did was a waste of time." Zeke said as he walked closer to him and ordered everyone but Ally, Charles and Harvey to leave. So all the men left the room and Connor started turning pale from blood lost.

" Charles get me some blood packs and the blood transfer machine, i also need a I.V line put in him so that we can keep fluids in him." Ally said. She ran a wet rag over Connors head to stop the sweat.

"You have been a very bad boy Connor, you know how much trouble I could have gotten into if they would have found out you got loose, not only would they kill you but they would do awful things to your sister." Zeke said in a harrasing tone. He then got more closer and placed the pendant in his pocket. Ally snapped each chain off, slowly trying not to harm Connor anymore. The chains were embedded into his skin making it hard to pull off. Connor begged her to stop but she knew that if she didnt remove the chains his wounds would get infected. So she had Harvey hold onto him long enough for her to get the last chain from around his neck.

"Leave kanna out of this , she doesnt have my blood, im the only one left after your kind killed the last two people with my blood." Connor said in agony. The chains that were being removed was causing so much that it was hard for him to talk.

"Thats true your sister doesnt have your blood and the fact that it skipped her makes her an interesting specimin." Zeke commented. he loved pissin Connor off. Nomatter what they might learn zeke could never harm Kanna but he doesnt want Connor to know. Connor just looked away too afriad to even think of the horrible thing s they could be doing to his sister. As the pain increased so did the thoughts of what was being do to his sister.

"Please tell her to stop father, it hurts." Connor cried out. He looked over at Zeke with tears streaming down his face. Zeke wasnt his real father but when Zeke got them Connor was only four yrs old and didnt know any better.

" Just let here finsh what she needs to do Connor, i dont see why you whine so much it aint all that serious." Zeke said as he sat in a chair watching all that was going on. Connor just closed his eyes.
