I smell a lawsuit..The article that caused so much confusion was a total lie started by an ex-employee. She's started a blog for no other purpose than to slander and ruin the company. (Although my mother did misinterpret the article.) She is very close to being sued for slandel and/or libel. In the meantime, our lawyer has a personal vendetta against the county judge exec. who lied in his comment to the newspaper. I'd hate to be in his shoes. Our atorney has too good a track record for me to be comfortable in his place.

On the way to work this morning (I work with my sister and her wife) my mom sends us a text asking if we read the paper. Curious glances to each other preced the reply.

"No, why?"

"There's an article about ____(our boss)"

"What's it about?"

"You have no job"

My initial reaction is WTF? C.J called him not 10 min. before we left the house. You'd think he'd have mentioned Oh. by the way don't bother showing up today. Then another message.

"The company's been kicked out of the state."

Niggling little thought...Is she misinterpreting something? Well, I'm at work but the paper is nowhere in sight. The bossman has it again, which means I'm going to have to wait for 5 o'clock...(Please let us go early!) I can't deny it..I'm curious.

Lately it seems as if life has been one long sucky day. I didn't get any of the jobs that I applied for and our receptionist was lazy so I'm back in that position for the second summer in a row. Even though I was never officially hired. Thus, I am working for no money. Today I got the honor of buying lunch. My sister took the credit, and the funds came out of my party budget. On top of it all, I've come to not only hate my job, but feel an intense dislike for most-if not all of my co-workers.



Life seems pretty much pointless right now.
