The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I have been a long time advocate for animals. Last night I came across a 10 year old male orange tabby who had been dropped off. His story was that they just didn't want him any more, because he was getting old. He is really a beautiful cat. His name is Ryan. Something inside me made me pursue this kitty. Well, I got ahold of a rescuer who could call the shekter and 'pull" him from the list. He is in Brooklyn New York (City) Anyways, today I read am e-mail stating that I was to pick him up at Pet Smart in Albany on Thursday at 3:00 pm. I can't believe I actually got him! I saved a life today. I wish more people would adopt. I found this guy on "Pets on Death Row." I also follow Pet Pardons where you can click on the animal, click on the little pink heart inside the green box, and depending on how many hits they get, they get more time. Also, sharing the photo's lets more people see these animals, and hopefully they get adopted. Hopefully someone will read this and go to the site and start sharing!! Save an innocent life!!!

If I could afford it, and I had my own house, I'd do it. But - I have 5 cats (and I'm suppose to have only two in my apartment, so I keep them on the downlow); I can't take in anymore.

I've rescued a few though, and took them to the local shelter here, which is really nice - a surprise! (It's a no-kill shelter. They do adoptions, and also send the cats/dogs out to the ASPCA and the like).

I can't go to that website, as I'd be depressed remembering all of the faces that I saw on death row. Well...maybe I can check it out to get them more time...

Oh - and I'm happy for you and Ryan! What a lucky kitty!



(My fat 11 year old Crunch is doing well - doesn't seem 'old' at all. And if he did show signs of being 'old' I'd still love him and keep him! My Gypsy died a lil' after her 15th B-day, after her illness of 4 years took a turn for the worse - meds no longer worked. She was buried under a beautiful tree)...
