Edward climbed into the window of Bella's room; as he usually did during the night. He sat behind Bella as she typed on her laptop, occupied with her various homework assignments, and tedious exams. He wraps his arms around her waist and peered over her shoulder at the laptop screen. "Bella, sometimes I worry about you studies; you study more than a college student. I'm surprised Charlie hasn't raved over your grades the whole time. However, i admire his protection of you, as if you'r going to pursue the role of superwoman." Edward chuckled a bit, and kissed her hair. "Although, I think I have him beat on the over-protection department." He smirked and looked at Bella's eyes. "No wonder your dad try's so hard to keep you. Your so beautiful." He kissed her gently, but passionately.

Bella's body against his, he sat against the headboard of her bed and stoked her hair. Everything about her seemed so fragile to him but; something that he couldn't resist about her. "So, I have an early present for you. Even though it's not exactly your birthday yet being close to midnight I'll make it so." He smiled and slid a necklace into her hands. "Since I can't really tell you about getting you a gift, I can make it a token how much I can't ever let you go." He looked at her eyes damped with light wetness, and she wrapped her arms around his body tightly. He put the necklace around her neck, the necklace read her name covered with small but very shiny diamonds."Just make sure Charlie doesn't notice when you wake up. It might be a little shocking to find you daughter is a necklace that reads her name in diamonds. He might think your robbed something in your sleep."

Edward joked and continued to hold Bella in his arms; he watched her move slighty as she began to slip into the unconsciousness of sleep. He whisper into her ear. "You'll always be my Bella." He put of the piano music he had given her a while back, and put the volume on low so she could sleep peacefully. And as Bella begin to sleep into deep sleep, Edward kissed her and quietly left out the window for the night and left a note a remind to about the necklace in the morning. The sun began to rise, and Bella woke up getting ready for school, and headed out the to car where Edward was standing the usual school morning procedure. He opened up the car door, and got into the car. Bella begun to talk, about her birthday. He listened to her intentively, and his eyes were getting their usual firey golden of that; that she was surpsingly happy about this day.
