Locked in a cell with two windows and no door.

Bars to scream out of, and a concrete floor.

I tor my straight jacket, my hands are free.

The demons in my head, wish they'd let me be.

I'm not crazy, I'm not insane.

I'm just here because I won't play their game.

I feel what others can't, hear what most ignore.

Third eye open, like a new door.

Most will never understand, or don't want to know.

A prisoner in life, their light will never show.

I'll find the key to my cell eventually.

the war inside my head will be over, and I'll be free.

I fall asleep and I take to the air, time to fly.

I travel for miles, soaring through endless sky.



I arrive at a new place every night.

Sixth one is coming in three days time.

It's hard to do anything special when you ain't got a dime.

I tried being everything she deserves, that's hard to do.

Endless passion and always having something new.

It's getting harder all the time, complex, complicating.

Trying to stay up there in the highest rating.

I make her feel special, I see a smile now and then.

Which is why I fear my past catching up again.

one hundred years I've walked this cold earth.

Shunned for who I am even before my birth.

My birth was a sin, but aren't we all born dammed?

According to the bible it's out of our hands.



So Why must I hide, we are all the same.

Some of us are just ahead of the game.



Seeing the world for what it has become.

Instead of what everyone says it to be.

Their minds gone comfortably numb.

Their feeling will never be free.



What I have seen is just been repetition

Everyone rushing life without a mission



repeating the same thoughts for years to come.

How did they get so dumb?



I do not hate them, just wish they would awake.

Stop following the herd, being so fake.



They can't do anything but what they are told.

Go to school, get a job, marry, and grow old.



The concept of love even slips their grasp.

That is my most of their marriages don't last.



Either over money, or just marrying for looks.

Countless stories of this can be found in books.



It goes no deeper, no meaning at all.

And they wonder why they fall.



I could not fall into that rut of hell.
