I found the greatest shirt today. It says "Think. It's not illegal, yet."

Finally bought Munchkin too. Splurged and got Munchkin Bites while I was at it.

The inevitable depravity.....

After the subject of having sex with epileptics came up...

"I'm all about the quiver."

"It'd be like a donkey punch without the brain trauma."

"How do you turn a strobe light into a sex toy? Fuck an epileptic."

I think I fit in in Phoenix a little too well.

Phoenix. w00t.

I made it in around 10pm. Total of 41 hours after I left home.

With the amount of bad weather I drove through, road constuction, and the wreck that had both westbound lanes of the interstate closed down in New Mexico, I made pretty decent time.

17 south from Flagstaff to Phoenix at 85mph, at night, was pretty fun. Especially with one headlight out, which I didn't realize until I got to Phoenix.

So... I'm here. Anyone around Phoenix that wants to meet up while I'm here, lemme know.

So... about midnight, I walk out to have a cig.

I hear "meow. meow. meow. meeeeow." Nonstop. So I grabbed a flashlight, and started tracking down the meowing.

Turns out, there's a cat in one of the big oak trees in our front yard, around 35 feet up or so.

I gave it a bit to see if it'd find a way down itself, then went back to the barn to drag our 40 foot extension ladder out of the loft. Then drag it to the front yard, and climb up in the tree, which is overhanging a really steep bank, to get the cat down.

Now it's been right outside our door every time I've came outside since.

So, I haven't updated this thing in a bit.

I've actually had a few times I intended to write something, and kept getting sidetracked. So, I'll see what I remember that I was going to put in here and put it all in one big lump sum of journaly goodness.

Deer. Apparently, the hunters didn't do their job so well this past season. I've seen at least 5 on the road in the past couple of weeks, a couple of them just about turned inside out. I had 10 run out in front of my car in one night driving home, and about 6 more that were smart enough to look both ways before crossing. A night or two later, I came the closest I have to date to hitting one of the bastards. I'm pretty sure my front bumper brushed against it's hindquarters as I was coming to a stop.

Continuing with the car, I bought a set of air vents from someone parting out a wrecked Sol. These were taken, the trim rings removed, then painted as close a match to the exterior of my car that I could find in a rattlecan. Trim ring for the CD player got the same treatment. It looks pretty snazzy. Pics will probably be coming soon.

It's finally warming up enough that I can start taking the top off... which is damned nice. Especially now that I have the factory speakers replaced and can actually turn the stereo up enough to hear over 75mph wind. Now, if summer would hurry up and get here so I can get my sub box built and put in to have some bass to go along with it.

Thanks to Nightblossom, I'm wanting to play Magic again. Yes, as in Magic: the Gathering. The original, and still by far the best (from what I've seen anyway) collectible card game out there.

Spring break is coming up fast. I'm thinking about driving to Phoenix rather then flying. Roughly 30 hours driving each way. But, aside from Le Bal Masque Nocturne last October, I've never gotten to travel anywhere west of the Mississippi. So not only would I get to see more, I'd have my own transportation while there. Grand Canyon is a definite must. And to top it off, Requiem is pretty much right on the way. Yaaaaay for Requiem!
