I'm still about half drunk. Drank about half a fifth of Everclear, then walked about 25 blocks down to the only all-night diner left around here.



Sat around for a couple hours, definatley didn't want to eat, but drank a good bit of Mt. Dew, talked to one of the waitresses that's been real flirty with me lately, and walked home. She's the biggest sweetheart... wouldn't let me pay for my drinks.... gave me like 3 cigs for the walk back, and just about made me take a cab back instead of walking. Finally talked her into letting me walk back, got about halfway home, didn't feel like walking any more, so I had my roommate come pick me up in my car. Probably not the greatest idea, since his license has been expired for about 2 years now. But it all worked out fine. Obviously, since I have to be back home to be online and typing in here. Problem is, I have to be up for work in 5 hours now. Yay. Damn good thing I don't get hangovers.

Damn it's been a long ass day. 14 hour shift at work, inventory night, so we didn't make it out of the store untill after 5am, and we close at 10pm. Which means that I've got to cancel my plans for today, was offered free tickets to an amusement park, I just don't think I can deal with the 3 hour drive there, staying all day, then another 3 hour drive back on no sleep after today. Oh well. Place is going to be packed anyway, it's opening day. And it'll give me a good chance to go job hunting later today after I've gotten a few hours of sleep. I think I've got a lot of my financial problems temporarily fixed at least. Should be enough to hold me over untill I can find a better job, then work on getting a loan for a house. Found a nice 4 bedroom place for $17k, perfect for what I'm looking for, have some room to let a couple of friends move in with me and pay rent, and fix the place up so a few years down the road I can sell it for a good bit more then I paid for it, pay off the mortgage, and have a nice chunk left over for down payment on a nicer place, probably somewhere away from here, after I get through school and all that fun shit. Well, that requires getting my ass back into school first. One thing at a time though. Shelter, income, and transportation have to come first.

At least we had fun tonight doing inventory. Smoked a bit, drank a bit, and laughed a hell of a lot. Made for a hella long day, but definatley some fun times.
