Can someone please explain why it is that everytime I think I fall in love with someone they go after my best friend and let me hit the ground?

It doesn't matter where I go or who I fall in love with it always happens. And now it's worse than ever because no she wont be able to give me everything back that I had given her that wasn't a gift. One thing she will give back is my class ring. This time though she broke it up because I cant find a gah dang job and I always "upset" her when we spoke. Well it's hard to find a job when no place is willing to hire you because you dont have any "experience" and how was I suppose to know that I made her mad when we spoke. I'm not a freaking mind reader, just cause she knew when I was troubled or something was wrong with me doesn't mean that I always knew when something was wrong with her. At times I don't even think there is a single person out there who would care if I died. I know my parents wont cause they've admited it to me before but I am going to stay around this world for quite a few more years before I make any major decisions about my so called life.
