So yesterday didn't quite go the way I wanted it to go. I wanted to come out smelling of roses and to be told that I had been correct with my diagnostics concerning my leg!
However after spending an hour having my leg checked she exclaimed “oh it's old clotting on one side of the right leg with partial reflux (blood return) and a collapsed vein with partial reflux on the other” She did mention other things but I had shut her voice out by then because my life was flashing before my eyes....
I am not able to remember all she said because I shit my pants the moment I heard the word 'clotting,' though I did think of cream.
Mrs ban gave me a stern talking to last night concerning my health and how irresponsible I have been to of had this condition for over five years and not to of had it properly checked out!Then she brought up the children...ect...ect..I wasn't even allowed to be humorous..dam it!Anyway I am now in the dog house again!
In my defence I told her that I thought it was back related and to do with the nerve damage...which the doctor had said that there may be a number of things to consider because the leg shouldn't swell as big as it has if it was just the vein problem.
So this morning I am off to see my GP as there was no mention of being given any blood thinners, all they said at the hospital was to wait to see what the specialist has to say!
Meanwhile I have a bomb slowing ticking in my leg!
Still I'm cool about it.

Just not long got back from work and I'm off out again to go to the hospital. I'm off to the Vascular laboratory...seems this body I am occupying is flailing somewhat! Still on the bright side it means I get to take my trousers down...again! Need to find some nice underwear to have on after my shower..
I hope that they will find the cause of my leg issues as I have noticed that the left has started to swell as well, although not as big as the right one gets. Going to go on the bike as it will be quicker and parking is a nightmare at the Hospital, at least I can park the bike by the main doors!

For some areas of my country to have issues about being able to fly the national flag shows how terrible the PC (Politicly correct) people have become. Flags are being taken down again for fear of upsetting the non British communitys..Graaa...Oooo Don't like it, then you know what you can do!!
Well the one word I can think of to describe mine and many other British people's thoughts on the PC policy is BOLLOCKS!!
I am flying the flag, and if I can find an excuse to fly it all dam year round I will!! I may not like the way the country is run, but I'm still very proud to be British!
Another thought...where the hell has the sun gone?..Come on sunny sunshine come back!

Ok I am going to add some more pictures of my bike and me on my portfolio over the next few days. I will also add more pictures of my little beasts...well perhaps I will. I'm not really comfortable with having pictures of them here although I do have pictures of them on Face book.....which I haven't been on for a while.
I was also thinking of changing my profile and taking out alot of the information that I have put in...really just thinking of having at least half and rewriting it.
Time for a spring clean!

My younger brother has clotting, a serious condition, I hope they treat it effectivly.

Oh no...I hope that you will start to take better care of yourself! The wife is absolutely right!
Why is it that guys always put off going to doctors, then go when things get worse...?
In any case my friend, take care of yourself - that is an order!
(And take some time to actually smell the roses).
