Not had a chance to get online these past few days and we hope to be going to go to Cornwall on Friday. Wana catch me a big Catfish if I can, or Carp.
Not going sea fishing this time just going to sit on the lakes. I have your journals to read when I get back....Going to attempt to get Mrs ban to take her laptop so I can get on the Rave....if not, I'll catch up with you all later.
Some family issues at the moment may see us return early though I hope all will be well.

Nibley festival was a great weekend which I didn't want to end, loads of Ska. I had intended on camping for 2 nights but I didn't want to erect my Bivvey because of the torrential rain. Lucky for me I was able to sleep in my friends tent on the first night and on the second night I slept in my car.

Time for a beer!
The Ale, lager, Cider, Pims flowed well with a fantastic line up. The weather was pants as it rained quiet a lot through the day. We did however have a reprieve from the rain with a dry spell ensuing for around 4 and a half hours during the day.
The beats had a good time with laser quest, face paint, magician and lots of other activities....which all cost me valuable beer money!! Bah lol
I of course went into full festival mode and in between the main stage act other bands played in the beer tent. To get to the stage reminded me of the red sea parting as it was so easy for the children to get right at the front of the main stage and inside the beer tent, though quite daunting for an adult. We didn't stay at the front for to long as I was a little concerned about the levels of noise and immediately felt old. Gotta watch out for the beasts ears!
After hours of rain, drink, and dancing Mrs ban took the beasts home and I retired to the orchard with some friends where we sat under a large tent with a beautiful fire to dry us out. Soon after followed guitars and Cider and the odd gatecrashers, though we were performing so we didn't mind.....even if we were pants lol.
The next day I had one hell of a hangover and was glad to get back into bed...Blah! Mrs ban was a star and let me sleep in until 1400hrs, which I really really needed : )

It starts tonight with just beer and food and I will be there. Going to put the Bivvey up this afternoon. I am looking forward to drinking without Mrs ban watching over me like a Hawk. The beasts will come down tomorrow with Mrs ban so I get a blokes night away with the guitars. We are staying in a field next to the official one so that we can have a fire weather permitting, as in the main field it isn't allowed. It's an apple orchard and the guy whose field it is makes cider ^^ Will of course take the camera and a change of clothes!

At last she came back. 7 weeks and a couple of days and she was in my arms. I almost cried when I checked her over and could quiet easily blown a gasket!
The chain guard hadn't been finished properly, the tank has a small blemish, the fairing/belly pan hasn't been put together properly, the exhaust bracket is cracked, the front near side fork has been scratched, the swing arm hasn't even been replaced, hand rail lacquerer scratched, and I have scratches on the fairing underneath the hand grips!
I am not a happy man at the moment. I didn't give the bloke who delivered the bike any grief, it wasn't his fault. I think he was grateful!lol
He took her back with him.
I felt like I just wanted to kill someone @@
I did have to take some very deep breaths, very very deep ones! : (

She should be back in an hour, lets hope she is looking great otherwise I will be disappointed... I wonder if I could get her into bed without getting oil and petrol on the sheets....

Nibley festival this weekend which I am going to camp out on Friday and Saturday night, weather permitting. Only I think 3.5 thousand people are going because it is a small festival... lol
Well I should have had her back today. The garage rang on Monday to report that one of the mechanics had scratched the tank so it would now be Thursday that she comes back. Going to cost me just over 7 hundred and sixty squid in engine and servicing stuff : (
Mrs ban is GOING TO FRIGGIN KILL ME!!
Mrs bans car needs a new clutch and the steering column needs to be replaced, looking at around 15 hundred squid to replace it!!Bah!! May as well buy another car as it's only worth about the same!
Going to pimp myself out in the red light to get extra cash...need to get more than a tenner!!lol

It's really odd when one comes across a profile which is well laid out and has some good and not so good pictures. Now I have rated almost every profile on the Rave, this one I haven't. I read all the profile and I leave a comment...only to find that I am blocked.
Very strange as I have never written to them before...if I had I could understand why I would be blocked lol.
People can be so strange..
